I've only ever had appointments with a physiotherapist due to sportrelated injuries, so I don't know what they do for age-related struggles, but my guy had my lay down on a massage bed and made me move my leg in different ways with and without resistance to figure out which part of my joint was messed up, just so that he could pick out the right exercises for me to do at home to recover. That shit made me feel like I was in good hands, but if he had spent my appointment showing me KZbin videos of exercises I should do, then I definitely wouldn't have returned for a follow-up appointment. I could have done that shit at home for free.
