My granddaughter has IIH and it took almost 3 years for her to be diagnosed and she still suffers a lot. She has all the same “band of doctors “ you have plus an ophthalmologist because her vision has been very affected. Ooh, thanks so much. Wait and see is something that I've heard a lot from doctors. Not all treatments are immediate. Not all meds help instantly. I'm really quite used to it. Since this was my 18th surgery/7th brain surgery I know I'm not in the same boat as most people. My heath isn't as fabulous as I'd want, but I hear things that most other people wouldn't. Yes, IIH is a rare condition, but there are specific differences in my brain anatomy that complicate the entire situation. That's why I end up having this surgery every few years. Thanks so much for your well wishes, and I'll be back ASAP. KZbin is my happy place!
