I have hooded eyes so I need an eye pencil with lasting power. My fave is the Sephora brand liner in the color Tiramisu - kind of a cool brown. I put it at the base underside of my lashes and it STAYS. I love this sort of video as it narrows the very wide field of products. Thanks!

I really like your earrings! I love the Lisa Eldridge foundation and think it’s so underrated. Love the LE skin tint too, but had to pick up 2 shades to mix for a decent match. I forgot to tell you that the new YSL eyeliners are also fantastic. I think you’ll like it because it stays all day long! All of my makeup and clothes were destroyed in a winter storm. The first few things I picked up were the Clè de Peau Radiant cream foundation Eyeshadow and highlighter, Gucci bronzer and lipstick, Westman Atelier blush and contour, the Violette_fr blushes, ND concealer, and the Victoria Beckham Baby blade brow pencil. The makeup replacements have been much more fun to shop for than the clothing!

My earrings are from studio cult. One is a huggie made to look like a split keyring with a house key on it. The other is a gold soda tab. It's a huggie too, but I like wearing it as a dangling charm from a simple pair of gold paperclip earrings. I love fun jewelry. I'm sorry you're having to replace so many things because of a storm. That would make me so sad. 😥 There are so many things I have in my collection that I'd miss. I enjoy shopping for both clothes and makeup, but like you, I prefer makeup. I’m going to check out the Lancôme bronzer! I can never make them look natural. I love how light it is and that it’s matte. I really like the Victoria Beckham eyeliners. The cinnamon is 🤩. Sometimes I smudge it out and that’s all I wear

I think I would love the VBB liner in cinnamon. I have the purple shade, but rarely wear it. I should go for a shade that's closer to my comfort zone. I hope you like the Lancome Bronzer. I think it's stunning, and really worth it. I can only speak on how the lightest shade works, but I'm assuming the formula is the same across the board, and that bodes well for it. I hope you love it if you decided to pick it up.

I have very few palettes now (4) but Enduring Love is the only one in that little pile that I would replace or rebuy if it was too old or I lost it. I think that and a palette or two of my favorite singles (mainly SG) is all the eyeshadow I would ever need, probably more than I would need. I have really whittled my cosmetics collection down to mostly staples (and maybe a hair more) and it is quite refreshing. Cool earrings too! Now that I am on a jewelry kick I am noticing people's jewelry almost more than their makeup. It's a lot of fun though, as long as I don't let it get out of control. But I am investing in some really nice pieces, and these are bringing me the joy that makeup never really did. Good video.

@@taramisu9978 I always want to create a small, curated makeup collection. Sadly, doing beauty KZbin doesn't lend itself to that. 😬😂 That's ok, I have fun with all my beauties. Oddly enough on the days I'm not filming, I'm wearing very little to no makeup. 🤷‍♀️ Maybe it's makeup fatigue.

I agree on the lisa eldridge foundation! It is so good!!!! I am almost halfway through and I got a back up... Sadly currently I have to mix 2 shades to get a nice colormatch but I don't even care that is how much I love it. Talking about a love affair, I am just as you, obsessed with lip products but since finding lisa's brand I have only worn her lip stuff except for the guerlain colored lip balms... And that says a lot... Before I was always wearing something else on my lips always trying more brands, different formulas but now lisa took over ( I know by how many by one brand gets carried around with me in my purse...) And thank you for introducing me to EM cosmetics.🥰 I love the compact powder for my purse and definitly love the shape of their brow pencil. I just wish the black would be a little more truly cool black, I feel it has some browny warmth? to it... Would you mind telling me what you are wearing on your lips and nails in this video? I really love Lisa's foundation. Shade 2 is the only perfect match in my entire foundation collection. A few others get close, but this one is perfect! I'm sorry you have to mix 2 shades to get your perfect match. I have noticed that she's started to create half shades. There's 2, 2.5, 3 ect. I like that she's filling gaps in the line of shades. I love that you're just as obsessed as I am with Lisa's lipstick formulas. They're just so good! I'm so glad that you're liking EM Cosmetics too. They're launching a new mascara tomorrow, and I'm likely going to pick it up. I love the brow products and the powder. Such great quality. I'm wearing an old shade on my nails. It's several years old from OPI. It's "Unfor-Greta-bly Blue" The Lip is the new "Heaven's Kiss" in the shade Rosebud from Dolly Beauty. Dolly Parton's new makeup line. It's a $20 lipstick and it's comfortable. Amazingly so.

@@thelipstickgal the formula of her foundation is so good I am willing to mix 2 shades. I never thought I would ever be willing to do that🙈 But yeah sadly her neutral tones jumps from shade 1 to shade 5 and that is a lot of difference so I mix both. I tried the other inbetween shades and 2 matched my face well but was very noticable on my jawline and I thought it enhanced my redness while the neutrals tone it down. But yeah first foudation that feels like nothing even on a hot summer day, that has 0 fragrance, no spf. It is just perfect. So I will continue feeling like a scientist mixing my shades😂 Yes I do💕 I love lipstick in general. Lipstick and nailpolish are my huge downfall💸💸💸😂 EM really has unique and good shapes of pencils/brushes for brows! Curious to see their mascara. Thank you! It is a very pretty mani!💙 Oh didn't expect the lipsticks from Dolly to be actually good and not a crazy prize! I might need to check those out😂🙈 But rumor has it Lisa will have a big launch in october so maybe I need to save some money to go all in on that one😂🙈 💕

@@thelipstickgal so Artdeco is a "boring" brand but I find it in my local drugstore, eyebrow products and pencils are good, also lipsticks, I do not know their face products, some of them do have alcohol and I avoid this, I have sensitive skin. Nabla eyebrow products are a bit better in my opinion, less emolient which I like.

I absolutely love PM blush. ND concealer and Hourglass are my favorites. I love Rare Beauty highlighters. I haven't broken one yet. I have 3 of the 4. My Metropolis palette is a favorite. My Light Work palettes are soooooooo much fun. Persona has such great products. I like Benifit bad gal bang, Tarte Tubing has been good. My old favorite is Benifit Roller lash. Such a fun video! I have a lot of overlaps with you. My main different ones are the Haus Labs and Hourglass foundations and the Haus labs concealer. Also Bobbi brown color corrector stick. What if you did a top 3 lipsticks with 3 for each kind of formula? (And then maybe your favorite neutral, red and other color for each?

I ordered the new Chanel cream to powder blush to try in the beige shade it looks so pretty! And the beige lip liner 🤍🤍🤍 can’t wait!!! I got 2 of the persona day mask lip balm/ glosses in the Ulta sale and I’m so happy I really like them so much better than the ole Hendricks bc they have no taste! I wish they were vanilla 🤣🤣🤣 my lips are really soft overnight stays on … I was just gonna ask u which eyeliner it was u liked I thought it was the persona I gotta pick one up

I'm curious about the Chanel cream to powder blush, but . . . I don't have a store that carries them, and I'm not sure I'm ready to blind buy. I have so much blush right now anyway. I'm glad that you're loving it. I haven't tried the Persona lip balms. I really haven't been shopping the Ulta sale at all. I've pretty much blown through my beauty budget for the month, and we're not even half way through. (oops)

Interesting thank you. I have LE skin tint but not tried foundation. Difficult to get shades right. My fav mascara is Bobbi Brown no smudge. Cant get on with kitten by LE. Love how you so into make up like me. Kindred spirits

@@magsB2210 it's always fun when you find people who enjoy the same things you do. That's why I love KZbin so much. It's a great place to connect with others who love makeup as much as I do. If you ever order from Lisa site, she does send out foundation samples. The lighter shades aren't in stock right now, but it's a great way to figure out what shade you are without having to blind buy.

@@magsB2210 yes, they tend to run out of the light cards the fastest. What shades do you wear in other foundations? If you contact customer service with that info, they might be able to help you decide on a shade.

What a great list. Looks like we have some similar favorites. I was wearing Exagger-Eyes mascara in this video. I do like it, but only when I don't over apply. I love that the Lancome gets a little chunky (in a good way) but the CT one gets weird if I try and build too much. It's a great mascara, but my favorite. I haven't tried the new Tower 28 powder, but I'm curious. Looks like it's your favorite. I'm up to my eyeballs in new powder at the moment. (Rare, Tarte, RMS, ND) I really can't use that much powder but the T28 one really calls to me. I might have to! Thanks so much for watching today.

@@thelipstickgal yes I agree about easily over building the ct mascara buuuuut I think that’s actually why I like it 😆 I don’t enjoy using loose powders so I’ve been seacgung for a holy grail pressed setting powder for my now 4 yr old combo yet sometimes dehydrated skin type and previously in was Kosas cloud set but I really do think the tower 28 took its place, for me the Kosas only had trouble in the summer months where I live and the Kosas I think has just enough more setting power in it for that but I can see where it MIGHT be dry on a truly dry skin type

@@megdvs21 I don't have dry skin, but it does appear that way in winter when it gets extremely cold. (in the 20 degrees to negative territory) That doesn't always happen here. I like the Kosas, but it's not my favorite because it doesn't do much for me in the summer time. It's a beautiful powder, but I don't think I'm it's target audience. My oily combo skin isn't who it's created for.

It's a really old OPI Shade called Unfor-Greta-bly Blue. I've recently been enjoying polishing my nails again, and instead of purchasing new shades, I'm digging into my very old collection. A little Nail Polish thinner, and they're all good as new! Sorry it's not one you can purchase right now. It's a lovely deep blue with a hint of metallic shimmer.

Always enjoy your videos. I have hit pan on my beauty pair bronzer (lightest shade). I canceled my membership due to increased cost. I’m fair skinned and dark haired, similar to you. I have Beachwalk Betty, what other bronzer do you recommend for daily use?

How do you clean out that Mario cream pan bronzer? I also use a big fluffy brush like that and love it, but it is a bit of a mess in there 😬😂

I reach for a clean tissue and just lightly wipe the surface of the product. I tried digging the clumps out before, but I gouged the surface too much. Just removing the top layer with the fuzz makes enough of a difference for me to not feel gross about it. I love it with a big brush. It's such an amazing product.

Watching as I recover from having surgery earlier today….thanks for the company! Question: I just received the Hourglass Ambient Unlocked holiday DRAGON palette and I honestly don’t know how to use the finishing powders….they look nice but again don’t know how to utilize them. Would you kindly advise on how to use them?

I'm sorry to hear that you're recovering from surgery. I hope everything's ok. Feel better soon! I love the Hourglass powder. I use the finishing powders as setting powders all the time. I also love to sweep them over my face right as I'm finishing up a look. After I have my blush, bronzer, highlight and my entire face on. It helps to soften the blend and bring everything together. I LOVE the finishing powder as an under eye setting powder too. That's how I use it the most. It's very forgiving and always makes my under eyes look amazing. I hope that helps. I hope you're on your feet sooner than later, and recover from surgery quickly.

On your recommendation I looked up the RMS powder, it looks promising and am now curious, have you tried the Unconcealer?

@@Stephaniepephani it's been years since I tried the unconcealer. I didn't know if it's been reformulated since I tried it last. When last I tried it, it was more of a no makeup makeup type of concealer. If you're looking for minimal to medium coverage that's emollient, you might like it. I really enjoy the powder. It's really flawless.

@@thelipstickgal I am going to purchase the powder and will think on the concealer. I received the Merit minimalist in the proper shade and it is so lovely. I am tickled with how easy it blends and covers. I was so pleased to see it in your top three. Thank you for these videos, I trust your opinion.

I emailed Tower28 because it was bugging me that all the concealer names are clearly SoCal themed and I couldn't figure out BU - they said it's for Malibu!
