I live in the Netherlands and I bought both the bronzer and the highlighter. I have been enjoying both! I still have to watch your video on all the lip balm type products because the shade you are wearing looks lovely. I fell in love with Lancome last year when I tried one of their quints. The formula is divine and the mattes feels eerily similar to Lisa's own matte formula.

@@mariam.a. I haven't tried the Lancome eyeshadows in decades. It's been awhile since I've picked up any of their eye makeup aside from mascara or eyeliner. Their liquid liner is one of my favorites. I haven't yet recorded the balm video. I'm planning on doing a Roundup of all the formulas that I have, but I have yet to record it. I hope to have that up in the next week to week and a half. I do have a video up with four new balms and it features the Lancome one. That was earlier this week. I'm so glad you're enjoying these new products, and thank you so much for making the time to watch today.

I'm not ready to put tretinoin/retinol on my lips. My doctors won't write me a Rx for tretinoin. It can increases spinal fluid in some people, and with a form of hydrocephalus, it's not recommended by my neurosurgeon. (bummer!) I love Lancome too! It's such a nostalgic brand for me. These are lovely, and I hope to see them stateside here soon. I would love to see a new blush formula from them. I used to love Miel Glace, but I'm looking for more matte blushes. I'm so glad you got 5 free products with your purchase. How did I miss this? I'm kicking myself for not checking my email regularly. Thanks so much for watching today!

I’m based in Europe and I managed to swatch all the shades (you find my video with all the swatches). I ended up buying the bronzer in shade 1. I like that it has grey, so I can use it as bronze/contour. I think the lightest shades are particularly unique

Oh, I love «Lancome»! My first luxury was «Givenchy». And I still love the brand (I'm 40)! I tried a lot of «Lancome»: my brother brought me and my mother perfumes from sea trips; friends and sister gave me skincare. I liked everything! The care smells so wonderfully unobtrusively of roses! Beautiful packaging! I often repeat it over and over again. I like the lightness of this skincare product. Now I really want this bronzer! I definitely like this luxury packaging and the fact that the bronzer contains vitamins - it never hurts! And I'm just looking for a universal bronzer! 🤩 I need to choose your shade! Because my skin has a warm undertone and takes a tan perfectly.

The lancome bronzers and highlighters are not in Australia - yet?. Lancome needs to have a big old update as they are looking very "old" so I do hope this is why there isn't much to buy in the shops here either! They need updated packaging and formulas especially the satin lipsticks, eyeshadows (they are not good) and the blushers! I must get one of their new bronzers as they look lovely !

I was sure the US was the last place to get new Lancome releases. Looks like we're both out in the cold. Sorry. Yes, Lancome needs a complete reset. I see that they're doing that by bringing out new liquid eyeshadows, new lippies, new Hypnose mascara as well as these beauties. I hope they continue to update their line. I'm tired of the old stuff. You hear "its a Asian release" but that does not mean we will get it even thought Australia is put in "Asia" most times. Its all about the "bottom line" sadly. I do enjoy your channel.

I love to see what the latest highlighters ( for example ) are but I will never buy them! Too many wrinkles! lol Its also interesting to see where some companies will send their products and where they don't. I am not that bothered if we can't get something as we both know there is new makeup coming out just around the corner ....but I want that Lancome bronzer! lol

I have both. I feel like the VBB has that lighter shade that's so light, and unlike other fair shades of bronzer. The darker shade in the VBB is actually very similar in tone. I do prefer the bendability of the Lancome just a bit more over the other. I'm not saying that the VBB doesn't blend well, but the Lancome is just so good!

I have all 3 bronzers. I like them all, but I'm in the habit of reaching for the Lancome right now. They're all really good, but the Lancome has me in a death grip at the moment.

The YSL looks very yellow-toned and as the VB is on the golden side I wouldn’t want it any more sallow - I’ve gone for the Lancôme! Thank you for your advice 🙏 xxx

I’m from Canada and the bronzer in shade 2 is called light and shade 3 is medium light but I haven’t seen shade 1. I hope shade 2 light is the same shade as your light in #1

I used to love their foundations, but since they reformulated the matte formula and the satin formula, I don't have a good shade match anymore. The satin/glow formula doesn't go light enough, and the matte formula is a bit too drying for my aging skin. I love the coverage, but . . . I need more hydration. I used to have a perfect match in the Photogenic formula, but they discontinued it several years ago.

I already have the shade 2 in the lancome bronzer. I ADORE the formula. Seeing the shade 1 on you here (we are absolute shade twins) I've now got the shade 1. Have you tried the tarte creaseless undereye powder? It is MUCH better than Pat Mcgrath. Far less drying

@@thelipstickgal I've got the pink tarte creaseless powder, they do a variety of colours. I got it shipped to the UK from the Tarte website. I would definitely buy it again despite the extra expense. It is that good. Have you tried the Louboutin fluide foundation? Shade 10C is the closest for us (the neutrals are VERY warm) I use 2 pumps of 10C and one of 15C and that is perfect, as i find 10C alone to be just a hair too light. But the formula does not move. I am 48, and this stuff doesn't even sink into smile lines and it has the best longevity I have ever seen. Better than doublewear!

Ooh, better than Double Wear is such a recommendation. I have been unwilling to pay the price for the makeup as I know I'm paying for the name, and less for the product itself. I know that's true with so many other brands, but they're prices are just so expensive! I've been hearing great things about the tarte powders. I might have to try one. I'll see if my local Ulta has them in stock, and I'll take a look at the Louboutin foundations. Your comment about it not settling into creases has really peaked my interest.

@@thelipstickgal it is the ONLY foundation I have tried that doesn't settle into smile lines, even after hours of wear (make sure you blot and powder smile lines when applying, buildup won't come back). This foundation can do no wrong. I am EXTREMELY fussy about foundation performance. The Sisley phyto perfection is nice, but it simply doesn't have the longevity of the Louboutin and can go pixelated after a few hours of wear. The Louboutin does not. I've just tried the Danessa Myricks yummy skin foundation. My conclusion is meh. That sinks into all lines pretty quickly. My preference is full coverage satin finish foundations

Thanks so much for watching today. I feel like you could wear either. Traditionally creams are recommended for people with dry skin, and powders for those with oily skin. I think if you prep your skin correctly, you could do either. My mom has oily skin, and even a powder product on her cheek will fade and disappear due to the oils. She's worn some cream product with ease, and really likes them. I think it comes down to prepping your skin and the formula of the product you wear. If you're wanting to wear a cream, start with a mattifying primer, and look for a cream to powder formula for the cheeks. It will help it stay longer.

I’ve only tried a lipstick from Lancôme and the fragrance was just far too much for me. I’m a couple of years younger than you (I turn 47 later this summer) and I’m not much of a sentimentalist but if I’m going to be nostalgic for a brand it’s more likely to be Clinique. It was my first dip into higher end skincare & makeup. Edited: I just remembered I did have a mini eyeshadow palette I bought at an airport over 20 years ago. At the time I wasn’t that much into makeup but I remember using up the browns in that palette. But I think those are the only things I’ve ever tried from the brand.

Oooh, I deal with Clinique nostalgia too. It was the first makeup I ever wore. My mom took me to the Clinique counter and I walked away with a full bag of makeup. It was my 8th grade graduation gift. During college I transitioned over to Lancome, and wore it regularly until I was in my mid 30s. That's when I started to branch out to more Sephora and Ulta brands.
