The affection their 4 children show each other is always very lovely. Princess Elisabeth has spoken of how they make a great team - it’s lovely to see siblings royal or not having such a great relationship that they take great pride they take in each other’s achievements and have no issue in showing it in public

King Albert II (King Phillippe's gather) abdicated for several reasons in 2013, one of them being that he was being sued by his daughter, Princess Delphine whom was born as a result as a years' long affair with her mother. She wanted to be recognized as his daughter and be given a title. The Belgian courts agreed that she should be recognized as his daughter, and no one of her demands wasn't a place in the mainline of the Royal family or to be involved in public events.

As a Belgian, I can say they do not care about all Belgians. Just half of them. The kind doesn’t even speak the same language as half of his people.

Let’s face it, any of the other European royal families are better than the BRF. As an Aussie who has a great difficulty in understanding having a foreign head of state who rarely visit. I’d like to get rid of them altogether, but I’d even happily trade them for the Danish RF now that there’s at least an Australian born Queen and therefore the next king will have Aussie roots, they’ve visited Australia far more frequently in the last 10-20 years than the BRF

King Leopold (The Butcher) descendants. I wonder if they restored the Congo African people from the oppression and slavery that they were forced to under the king's ruling. What a beautiful family!

You know what is fun, i have now a reason more why not to date a royal, i mean i like some but i would just get lost in the palace alone, i would be calling my partner up and be like : “ hey honey, i got lost again, im somewhere in the palace and i don’t know where, can you come and find me, cause im scared” and in the meanwhile i would be already crying and panicking like crazy 😂

You dont get the whole palace. The palace is an office for the royals. They most likely live in a smaller mansion with few maids and a butler.

Do your research the Queen's mother was a Polish countess, her father was just a simple Baron, and their wedding had nothing to do with him becoming King 20 years or so later! The Queen's father was made a count upon the marriage!

LOL having access to a jet and owning your own jet is not the same, the Belgian government lends them a plane if they need it otherwise, they just fly regular planes!
