Bev, everything came together so beautifully. I, too, live in a cottage that was built in 1949. We bought our little yellow house right after we married. That was over 50 years ago. I was about to get a huge turkey flag at he thrift store. I though who am I kidding Halloween down, 10/31 and it's Christmas! Christmas I will start in some rooms now. It takes me about 3 weeks. Already got the white lights in the window with beautiful fall swags. You are amazing. I just thrifted a large porcelain pair and wooden artichoke. YOU ARE A VISIONARY for sure!
