wow, you cannot be arrested for being ambitious. the failure, resonated with my life and the failure to pray when faced with paralyzing challenges. Form 6 was a nightmare for many of us but we need to learn from a failure. Success has many fathers and failure is an orphan.

Five points at A level and the system judged she failed. Tends to show how systems fail people-she could have done a great degree anywhere else except Zimbabwe, get opportunities then and likely the story would have taken another route. Great to know that she made it by other means. We need to rethink our education system, and how we may be failing many talented people. Reminds me of Ivan Illich's de-schooling society.

We still need more universities, 5 points at A Level exceeds the entry requirement at most universities but they always give first preferences to those with higher grades & those who can grease the system.Most students from disadvantaged backgrounds end up @ the receiving end
