I love the blend of the garden with the timber from the ground all over the rooftop! I love the connection between earth & city vibes. Feels like your on the forest in the middle of the city. Thank you Local Project

Contextual and beautiful on the exterior. Calming and neutral on the interior. And then the Wellness Retreat. Wow, inspirational!

The external timber ribbons were amazing. The common areas (pool, etc.) were some of the best I've ever seen for a building like this. Great shot of Brissie too!

When I was in Brisbane last year, I saw this building and wondered what it was. I now know it's an amazing place to live. Great job.

The Moreton Bay fig-inspired sinuous supports that become the pergola are quite lovely, and the pool and gardens below really special. It is clear that huge amounts of thought went into the design. Thank you for talking us through this.

If I was going to live in a city high-rise (Although, I couldn't and wouldn't because I love 'real' nature and being in the middle of no-where way too much) this would be the building. Very thoughtful and well done!

An absolutely stunning design that uplifts BrisVegas into world class living ( I know there are already great ammenities there, especially the art gallery). If only I had that kind of finances to enjoy the top floor, the maintenance fees alone would break me, but kudos to those who have the means.

I loved the architecture of the building - the curvy lines, the use of timber, the incredible garden and pool on the roof and the views. I want to live there! Interiors were not particularly interesting but pleasing to the eye. I get why - they want to sell the penthouse and you do that to appealing to the largest possible audience. Warm wood and marble are always crowd pleasers! Very well done!

Genuinely, I still don't understand how acknowledging who lived in this land can have a positive impact, maybe giving the descendants of this people a unit in this building. BTW love the everything about the building.
@msmaine51793 ай бұрын
I find it quite amusing this ‘acknowledging’ is said through out Australia. I think it’s bs. Saying this does jack sh*t for the horrific treatment to one of the oldest tribes on the planet. But on another note, this building is beautiful. Well designed.

They actually have rental apartments - if you buy a penthouse sure maybe the 1% but if you rent on a lower floor it’s attainable if you work full time

While this looks very beautiful now, give it a few years and the costs to upkeep the exterior timber etc will be phenomenal, the strata fees will go through the roof.
@CALN6263 ай бұрын
I respect countries who pay tribute to those who inhabited the land before them. Nevertheless, I hope they are taking more substantial actions rather than just "acknowledging." Through the Local Project, I have realized that Australians are home to some of the best architects and designers. Kudos to Local Project, I look forward to your weekly segments.
