What a lovely time with your friends. Love the folding table. Continual heat is draining. For us (California) if it isn’t done in the cool of the morning, which is by 11:30am, it doesn’t get done. Despite being away from Scotland for 28 years my northern body has not acclimatized. Air fryer is great for not heating up the kitchen - I put it on top of the stove with the extractor fan on.

The top picture is of Atora which I used to use to make dumplings for a stew. You say 14 days on a cruise is too long and must have admit I am worried about our next cruise which is 25 days as I will definitely roll off

I don’t eat them but lots of people including my late grandma eat French fry po boys. They put roast beef gravy over the French fries. Our French bread has a nice little crusty outside but is soft and light as air in the middle. Also the jambalaya on here doesn’t look like our jambalaya. I really hope you enjoy our food when you come down to New Orleans. I don’t know why but i am nervous your not going to like your time here. I’m continually amused amused by your inability to pronounce charcuterie, and now you leave the last syllable of the word jambalaya! But that’s OK because what you cooked that didn’t look that much like jambalaya to me still looked pretty tasty. I don’t think I’ve ever put potato chips (crisps) on a sandwich, though I’ve had them on the side with a sandwich plenty of times.
