@@sdmit2000think his strategy is fine, if he gets raised after already firing flop, turn and big for river. for most sizings he will call as he still beats all other sets. the fact that chris did a massive overbet shove with 40k+ against the ~80% river bet, i think with sets most players will raise for standard 3-4x to try and get value from AK. The fact that Chris didnt raise the turn, Yoochan can probably discount some sets too, so it has to be 45 suited.

Loved how Xuan played today - it is the first time I see here that a pro (not a whale) does a 5b-bluff. And she did a good job provoking Taras, unfortunately he had value there. Usually a big fan of how Taras plays, he can really put people to the test & knows spots to do it, but god, he has to take his table image into account. And his calldowns today were from a king of Whaleand, speaking politely

56:38 Dude lost nearly 100% of his chips by hanging on to Ace high hands. Then bluff shoved way too little without being able to see the size of the balls on his opponent because they were under the table. Taras literally is half paying attention to a story about him taking a 6-figure pot by hero calling down with QQ because he had a heart in his hand as a blocker… Yidne is welcome in any game, anywhere I’d guess.

The player that reads the room and players and remembers their weaknesses, wins any opponent that they know their MO. Xuan vs Yoochan clear example. XUAN had best hand and Yoochan knew if he overbids the pot, she will fold and she did. Too Predictable. GUT feeling and Fierce Force is what good Poker Player needs to thrive. Never doubt your gut.

That is a results oriented great fold, in reality it's an absolutely horrible fold. The dude obviously had decided for whatever reason he was on lockdown and stuck to it. No great player would ever make that fold.

Agreed. But the sizing is ridiculous. Most sets of 88/22 raise turn. Greedy sizing got him out of the pot. If he raises 4x to like 16k, he gets snapped. But he (correctly) sniffed it out. Yes, theoretically it's a snap call, but not when you remove bluffs, and make it so that 90% of sets raise on flop or turn. By river he ends up with basically all 4 combos of 45s, and not much else.

Sorry to Say: Love you XUAN, but how do you drop highest pair on the board over 3k. Calling and Risking is the way to Fortunes not Fear. Last Three Big Hands you folded were winning hands. Read the room and players. If they are dropping high oversized bet last minute, that should be tail tail signs they are jamming on a bluff not real hand. I feel bad for Xuan, she could have been up by 10k by now and she choose to FOLD calling it "stupid game". just hurts seeing her fold. All Love. Bulldog, Alex and MAriano and Taras they win because they just go for it BOLDLY. key is being bold and fearless when holding decent hands.
