I don't wear much of what you wear, but I think watching you style outfits rubs off on me in terms of learning how. But I don't shop H&M, that amazon haul reminded me of why I don't shop it for clothes either. I mean you look good in anything and everything. I need way higher end stuff to look half way decent. Besides I'm a minimalist fashionista. My latest "find' is a Vince dark blue satin slip dress (not real so I can wash it). I paired with a white linen blouse with flutter sleeves that buttons up the black (similar to a dress you showed recently). It's been cold here so I had to add a light silver sweater, and silver sandals. But then it got colder and I was home by that time so I switched to some high end sneakers that are new. I suggest that we're all going to dress much more casually even going out so I invested in some high end sneakers that may or may not become work wear depending on what clients wear after this is over. I personally have one pair of diamond (fake) earrings I wear always, and one silver locket necklace if i want a necklace so I don't buy jewelry at all, ever, so I'm not a good one to ask. But I would like it if you have your own shop, the way Tamara does. She donates it all to charity. That doesn't influence my shopping. But the fact that I follow her and trust her does. And I follow you and trust you too. I'm bigger than you or her but scarfs, jewelry if I bought that, purses, headbands, etc, fit everyone. I do think your videos look so much better when your place is clean behind you personally. Sorry I care about that. All in all, thank you for all the free content, I'm grateful.

Hello Laura. I agree with you regarding age and style of dressing. I’m in my 60’s and I can admire many modern clothes but don’t necessarily feel they suit me. I think much of a sexy or chic look is the fact that you wear the outfit and it doesn’t wear you! There are many ways to enhance your body without baring all for example by showing the clavicle ,your neck,your waist etc. Natural fabrics such as linen or silk and well chosen accessories look lovely too.Also wearing beautiful colour combinations,lovely make up or a modern hairstyle all add to our feeling good whatever our age. I think it would be great to follow your creative drive and design some jewellery. I’m so sorry you’re not feeling so good. Take care and get better soon 💗

It's funny these midi dresses... I always seen them in catalogues when I was teen on women and thought there are for women over 30.... They look great on Laura, Josie and other youtubers here and they are around 20's.... But they are just not for me...they look for older women...but I don't get it... I am 38!!! I'm so proud of you for putting up those pictures on your wall, it looks lovely. I'm not symmetrically inclined and have difficulty putting up one picture on an empty wall lol. Also I now love your Nana Shirley, thanks for sharing about her. About dressing in more modest seeming pieces or pieces with more fabric, I think for me it's something about how timeless and elegant it looks. I wouldn't say I'm a modest dresser but something about an outfit that's long and flowy like a gorgeous skirt really makes me feel all magical and beautiful, which I just don't feel in super short or figure hugging clothes. Though i'm twenty and it really isn't the norm among my peers I'm drawn to these looks and embrace them. I just love your channel because you feature such sophisticated and flowy pieces. Hey Laura, I know this was a couple weeks ago, I hope they have checked you for asthma, I didnt have asthma until I was in my late 30's, and it developed after a serious bout of pneumonia, 3 rounds of strong steroids, now, 20 years later, still have asthma. It's the type that is brought on by pollution, pollen (environmental), exercise and sometimes stress. I would think this would be something they would check right off, but if not, I recommend asking to be checked for asthma, it can be developed later in life, and for some people, once they've had a very bad lung infection they can then be compromised for the rest of their life. It's not as bad as it sounds, it just means for me, always having a puffer with me, and being more aware of what a slight asthma attack feels like, and What can bring them on. Hope you get some answers. Also, it's not a popular opinion, I know, but wearing a mask has been proven to cause hypoxia. There are many studies showing this, I recommend doing some research into that. All the best.

I'm the Jenny, I can't wear it but if I could, I'd say go for the red dress, you look the business! My Nanny who incidentally hailed from Wallasey, was still powdering her nose, applying lipstick and going to Tea dances at 98 and she always looked elegant. Simple, stylish clothes as you get older. I'm a Zara fan because they always have something quirky that can make an outfit, stop it being boring. Love the earrings idea.

Laura can I please recommend you speak with your sister and doctor about a supplement called NAC (N-Acetyl Cystine) it is a precursor to glutathione which is known for promotion of respiratory health. I think the reason behind woman want yo cover up more after 30 is that they finally realise that they dnt need to show their body to feel beautiful. They are beautiful the way they are . Laura, i was feeling exactly the same way, you do, mid March when the world started shutting down... I was breathless and was worried I was infected but I had no other symptom... it went away as time passed by and I am think it was just anxiety... wishing u a quick recovery and I am sure u are just fine.

I’ve always been told that I have great legs. They are very long and slim. When I was in my twenties, I always had them on show and enjoyed the looks I got. Now, early forties, my legs are still the same, but I feel weird wearing short skirts. The mutton-dressed-as-lamb thing crosses my mind regularly. No matter how good they look, it just feels inappropriate. Dresses just above the knee...okay. Dresses mid thigh or shorter...big no-no. I prefer mid-length now. I have nothing against a slit that gives a glimpse though.
