The one thing I love about these guys is that they aren't afraid to be themselves.. anxiety, anger, hurt, sadness, wacky, hilarious, etc. I could feel the hurt right though the screen and it broke my heart. My dad adored DMX, we listened to him growing up and he has his lyrics tattooed on him. He was completely heart broken after hearing the news. I, too don't cry or get too upset when a well known person passes, but this one just hit different. But I have no doubt his legacy will live on forever and ever! We love you guys!

Being from Yonkers is one of my biggest pride and joys i rep that city through and through. DMX has done so much for the communities in Yonkers that people don’t realize unless you’re from there. I’m only 20 years old so i didn’t really get to witness his prime in real time but he’s one of the realest people i’ve ever seen and he really put Yonkers on the map almost single handedly. Boys, dear boys you have the right idea, teach your kids his music, I had a music hero of mine murdered in my hometown, Darrell Abbott of Pantera was executed in cbus Ohio, I missed the concert he was killed at because I decided to pick up a shift at my job last min. It absolutely broke my heart and I still can't believe his talent was snuffed out here. My son now plays his instrumental solos and I swear it's because of the age appropriate songs I played when he was little, like 3 lol.
