Agreed. I re-read the series from time to time, my favorite clone wars era novels probably. Love it, and it’s a strong recommend. It even brings up a lot of stuff Canon never does, like the aspect of the Clones effectively being a slave army, and all that. Actually just re-read it again recently, lol.

During his stay on Jabba's Palace, the Hutt offered Bobba to have relations with the enslaved Leia. However, Boba refused the offer and preferred to just chat with her, arguing that he considered completely immoral to have sex without being married. This encounter made Leia realize that Boba was not the cold-blooded monster everyone believed. Also, Boba once notified Solo about the death of the smuggler's first lover Bria Tharen, as he promised her one time while trying to capture her that, in case she died, he would be the one responsible of notifying her demise

I have always found Mandalore the Indomitable to be the most badass mandalorian leader. Thought this was gonna be a Geetsly's collab with that intro in mind. Anyhow, the Alt-universe's Mandalorians are extreme milquetoasts compared to this universe's. Must be because some events in that latter didn't happen, if not happened extremely differently, in the former. Edit: I don't think one can easily mix up the Traviss/Skirata interpretation of pre-2008 Legends with the Filoni/Kryze interpretation of the now Alt-universe, unfortunately.
