it really does. i have a half-brother who is j#wish and online freinds with a m#uslim guy. he was very interesting and said i was pretty intelligent compared to some he has conversed with online. As a Christian, I don't take jokes about my religion seriously. Tbh, I've become pretty numb to it. Some take it too far tho. Like one comedian saying Jesus Christ liked to give oral sex to men and that's why he kneels while praying. 😒 Its wayyyy more graphic than what I wrote tho. my towns mormon church got raided by police 12 times, we had our own warren jeffs situation where a lot of women in the local mormons were not "permitted" to leave which translates to they were being held against there will, and on the 12th raid they found evidence that resulted in 34 arrests and 22 convictions our local mormon church was very fond of "religious SA" of female lgbt members in the town, and the church called it "fixing the unclean" edit: they forced lesbians to join then would SA them to turn them straight and if they tried to leave the church or come forward with what happened the church would ruin there lives or scare them into staying quiet

American Hindus don't follow the same no beef policy. it is a response to the freedom they get here and usually they dump that tradition. instead Hindus will take part in a vegetarian meal before or after Prayer. usually provided by the temple food hall or a nearby restaurant. they try but often they are just pressed for time so anything works as food. Indians tend to work much longer than normal hours here doing different jobs only getting maybe half an hour lunch which they have to eat quick so anything they scarf it down and get back to it.

Because Christianity is a very diverse Religion with a diverse set of beliefs and centuries of violence in the past, the solution back in the 17th century was slowly to argue for tolerance amongst fellow Christians and allow for freedom of speech and freedom of religion or lack thereof. When America was founded, Christmas & Easter was considered evil and satanic by the Presbyterians/Congregationalists/Baptists, but it was loved and celebrated by the Anglicans, Lutherans, and Catholics. By the 1900, almost all Christmas denominations celebrated it due to commercial influence on society. Even Atheists celebrate Xmas.

Religions*. It's very accepted in them. Temples like the one in khajuraho depict homosexual acts. Trans people are even worshipped in some sects and are generally considered divine. So yeah. Not that this changes some conservatives to freak out over homosexuals but yeah there's no religious pushback.

I've also noticed in China Japan.most.of South East Asia, I think it may have something to do with the fact that they worship more than 1 god ie Japan shinto and Buddhism and also pagan Rome didn't even have a word for homosexulity things only got intolerant when Christianity took over not just with gays but pagans other Christians who thought differently anyone who didn't conform, it's someone that seems to exist in one god societies but luckily not in society that have different gods ,in China and some.places they come down.hard on certain groups but this is mainly political and things that challenge the state and is never religious, I've also noticed Christianity etc have never made big inroads in these cultures

actually the 7th day Adventists are very close to modern Judaism in practices. They actually don't use pork at all believing its dirty. But they create some of the best hospitals in florida as the entire Advent health system was created and funded by them. They used to call it Florida Hospital but changed names to keep up with the times. Honestly you see the 7th day churches pretty much everywhere in Florida.
