Other than that everyone else is still on the team from 2022 from the core 8. Plus you added Dalton who is an upgrade at least over Walker. How much do you expect as far as trades when you traded the farm multiple times. They traded a ton to get Westbrook and Davis. They had Andre Drummond but only tried him for a year. Got rid of Boogie, Howard, McGee and chose to Not build around AD when the winning formula was already there. We're not gonna mention all the trades since LeBron has been there. He chose the coach his son and set the entire roster up. It is what it is. He can't spin his way out of this one. They can either grind it out as at team or fold.

@@odizza1688 okay buddy as if LB doesn't have 6 complete seasons played on MJ. It's even more crazy when you realize that LB is consistent. MJ's averages were still poor just like every other 40-year old nba player. It's wild to me that any of these so-called fans believed in the Lakers with this roster construction. Old man LeBron eventually was going to slow down and this year he's doing so. AD is still fantastic, but he can't carry the team entirely by himself. Plus the other players that surround those two are not a strong enough roster to make up for their deficiencies. Especially in a stacked Western Conference. I'm not sure there's any other Western Conference playoff team that has a weaker #3 player then the Lakers do. But they get that LA hype bump like all those delusional "THT and a pick" days 🤣

@thareelhelloagain5 күн бұрын
@@legenddaryl537Literally this... why is he still earning a max??? He doesn't play defense... so he should only earn half his salary, right? Like damn, to only play one side of the court, but still get paid like a full time player, must be nice lol.

Capping for JJ is not the move. LeBalco using his staffing firm again or I mean Klutch sports to pluck another player from Nola. Only Klutch players want to play with him. The other prime and younger players have no desire to play with Lebron. Rob can’t negotiate with agents and players bc they are cool on Lebron. Lol once he leaves LA will become desire again.
@Knightmare02595 күн бұрын
The expectations people have for Lebron teams is the problem. This is a mid-tier roster in a stacked conference. The only reason people believe the Lakers are serious contenders is because of Lebron's popularity and his constant media coverage.

Is Lebrons’s team impact at 40 better or worse than Jordan at 40? Keep in mind Jordan had knee issues and had only been back in the league the year prior after taking a couple years off, which is as big as a handicap to his game than LeBron having to a lot of games on his body. Jordan’s second best player was Jerry Stackhouse, while LeBron has AD.

Lebum shot 80% or better from the free throw line ONCE in the regular season and postseason combined in 21 YEARS. 🤢🤢🤢😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣 Even at 40 years old Jordan shot at least 80% from the free throw line but Lebum is supposed to be so skilled as a player though. 😂😂😂

A chip is a chip but the bubble championship is looking more and more questionable with each year that passes, pelinka and Jenie gave LeBron way too much pull in the teams big decisions, reddick is a much better coach than ham yes (a very low bar btw) but he still needs more experience, they wasted a draft pick on a player who was no where near nba ready to please him in an era where more and more nba ready players are being found in the second round, the countless trades that LeBron undoubtedly pushed for and to top it all off they nearly maxed a player pushing 40. LeBron is an amazing player and will always be remembered as such but that does not translate into managerial experience(Jordan being a prime example), he is not going to be as knowledgeable as people who’ve been putting together teams and basketball schemes their whole life. The only way the lakers could truly recover is if they trade him or at the very least shut him out of front office decisions

No I think Darvin ham needs an apology people are being biased towards him. Plus jj is a fan favorite so no matter the record the lakers have people will make excuses for him and the same excuses they make for him they use to to bash ham roster has nothing to do with it ham took this team to the Confernce finals and the only reason they can’t get further in the playoffs is because the lakers can’t beat the nuggets that has nothing to do with ham. Jokic is the best player in the world and LeBron has been past his prime for 5 years. Leave Darvin ham alone.

Only push back I’ll give is Jokic or Embiid isn’t asked to the things defensive that AD has to! They can focus on dominating offensively then they’ll get their praises. If AD doesn’t be superhuman every game then he’ll catch strays from every direction. Meaning I wish Rob Pelinka would bring in some help so AD can be fresher in the 4th like a Jokic. Overall though great breakdown LOW 🔥
