@@luxurytravelexpert less is sometimes more and your videos are a fine example. There's no need for sensationalism, this sort of "omg look how awesome this place is I can't believe it!!!". I think a lot of travel bloggers are trying to gain fame this way. Your approach is the right one, smooth camera work, subtle brief texts below, mellow music.. if you voice your opinion you don't force it onto anybody, you just gently say what do you think and that's it. In my opinion your videos are the best and you should be proud of that. It's nice to see how they evolved over the years. You will be reaching a milestone of 250K subscribers soon and it's just a small reward for your work. You're doing it right and we all appreciate it.

As you know, I am a medical professional (pediatrician) like you. The Amalfi Coast is my go to refuge for two weeks every year. It is like a religion with me. Oh yes, there are “long weekend trips” interspersed but NOTHING, IMHO, replicates the idea of “heaven” as does this part of Italy. The only difficulty is leaving for the return to Miami! Btw, as a loyal follower, I think this is your FINEST trip report to date.

Spotted @11:01 the world famous red suitcase. This is one area of Italy i've always wanted to visit and this amazing property is a once in a lifetime vacation. Really stunning video. Yes, I tend to take the "nice" toiletries home & normally I share them with my houseguests.

Appropriately, Red has a place of honor in the bedroom. I think Dr. LTE should organize a field trip to this gorgeous hotel for some of his faithful subscribers. Of course, we'd all have to bring red luggage! Oh, and I had a great time in NYC. One special highlight was lunch at Le Bernardin (3 star Michelin seafood restaurant--whoo hoo). I have a huge crush on chef Eric Ripert and saw him walking to work through Central Park and again at the restaurant.

I've seen quite a few of your videos and reviews but this place stands head and shoulders above all others in my memory, which is saying a lot. Recent coverage of Hotel Splendido and Grand Hotel Tremezzo were terrific - but Hotel Caruso blows me away. My goodness! I sure wish to bring my wife here. Even the colorful pottery is distinct and gorgeous. Bittersweet, too viewing breakfast buffet in pre-COVID days. Sometime, this too, shall pass. I could spend WEEKS just drooling over the ceilings!!!!! The floors!!!! And the gardens, oh the gardens must just be perfumed by all the flowers and herbs. The views are what the word " gobsmacked" was invented for. Tell me, how does one force oneself to leave a place like that? Because I would try to become a permanent fixture. Fond memories. Stayed there about 6 years ago and, more recently, the Hotel Santa Caterina to be a little closer to Amalfi and friends in Positano. Ravello is stunning. We found the fastest way around is to rent scooters (concierge can have them delivered).

To be honest I am not a huge fan of "old designed" hotel but in Italy, it fits perfectly ! Love the suite, the pool (of course) and every single aspect who makes this place a *****Legendary ;) The food looks amazing .. the only thing which is missing for us viewers is .. the smell :)

Grand raffinement : 8.20 et 9.15 La suite est très jolie dans les tons pastels ( à partir de 13.41 ) avec une superbe terrasse 14.33 19.53 : belle fenêtre à la vénitienne sur la mer A partir de 20.40 : découverte des sublimes jardins avec ce cadre autour. Pas de mots pour dire la beauté. Déjeuner là, ça doit être une expérience unique ( 22.32 ) Espace piscine une merveille avec cette verdure autour et les montagnes et les maisons blanches, et la mer, qu'il faut pas oublier ( 24.04 et +). Se baigner là, quelle expérience aussi ça doit être ! Très appétissante nourriture italienne à partir de 28.58. Vraies pizzas ! Et de nouveau à partir de 29.39 la piscine et ce cadre autour. Les plus belles images de la vidéo jusqu'à 33.00. Le paradis sur terre, aucun doute. A partir de 35.05 : le matin. Fantastique ! et incroyable petit déjeuner à partir de 40.24 Les images finales sont très belles aussi. Le Paradis sur terre, aucun doute !

I beg to differ. I stayed at this hotel just before the renovation, and it was an experience you cannot simply get any longer. The all antique (and I mean like antique in Italy-old...) interior gave the hotel a completely unique atmosphere. The uniformed and plentiful staff of solely senior "white top" Italian gentlemen that quietly served you breakfast from centuries old antique silver, and the ripest plum sized queen olives to accompany your gin and tonic under the pergola overlooking the garden with fist sized lemons..... Now, I visited the hotel after the renovation and sadly it's transformed to a regular luxury hotel, which you find thirteen on a dozen of...Still a very nice hotel, but to much has gone missing after the renovation.

you are basically the Gold Standard of filming locations, which is both good and bad, good because I absolutely love your smooth style that always shows off the best of what you want to see, but bad because I can't watch anyone elses videos without thinking "keep the camera still! wait you passed up the bathroom, and now you are filming your sloppy sandwich at some cafe? no one wants to see ugly food!"...I would love to know if there is B-roll of you tripping or falling off steps while you are filming!
