I think those earnings are very misleading. I think "well known" female models do make a little more than an average male model, but to use Gisele or Kate Moss as an example isn't right. These two are past the point of SUPERMODELS, they are now CELEBRITIES and get paid as such. Plus, their earnings also come from cosmetic contracts, design collaborations with retailers and money from their own businesses. The important question is, how much of that 42 million is from fashion jobs ONLY?

I think it should be noted that most of Gisele's 42 million did NOT come from modeling. It's insane that the no.1 earner on the list would make 6 times the amount of the no.2 earner. Gisele has her name on a line of sandals that makes her tons of money and who knows what other merchandising deals or business investments she has. If u look at the earnings of the other 4 girls on the list you can see that there's a much smaller gap between them(the gap between the guys' earnings is pretty regular as well) I think for the other girls, most, if not all of the money was from modeling.
