Do people really still believe Ngannou would of made more had he stayed in the UFC? Ngannou made $30million for his two boxing fights alone. Thanks to being in Saudi Arabia, that 30m was entirely tax free. Even if the UFC offered Ngannou FIVE MILLION per fight, which is a gross overestimate, Francis would have had to fight TEN times to match that 30 million. 5m x 10 fights = 50m. Once you factor in the taxes in America that 50 mill becomes 31m based on Nevada tax rates, but as low as 25 mill in New York or California. Perhaps we could be generous and say 8/9 fights if Ngannou fought for the UFC in Saudi /Abu Dhabi. This is also assuming that Ngannou won every single one of those fights, because it relies on him getting PPV points, which is only afforded to champions. It also assumes Ngannou even had the physical capability to fight 10 more times, he was already 35 by the time of his last UFC fight. Not to mention that Ngannou is making 7 figures guaranteed in every PFL fight. I don't care how much you want to glaze the UFC and Dana, there is no arguing that Ngannou made the right decision.
