I reckon it would be a good idea to do the wally trolley when you arrive first so you could get your bearings and ideas of places to visit

As of Jan 2020, there were indeed 2 wally trollies that stop at Veronicas. One goes to Los Cristianos, the other goes up towards Fanabe and the Marina at Colon. A taxi is cheaper, but you get to see more on the Wally.

We jumped on the train when it was raining 🌧 a couple of weeks ago a good idea when it’s to wet for the beach. We stay at the Colon 11 on room only basis and eat out at different restaurants every night can’t wait to get back. Keep up the good reports. Tom Mac 👍

The first stop you had used to have two routes leaving from it, the other one went to Los Cristianos, it was about five or six years ago, so maybe only doing two now. Not sure about Tony Roma's in Las America's, but been in the one in fanabe and can't say anything bad about it.

Another great Vlog Lee. Worth a mention there are different taxis in Tenerife, so all the taxis will take you anywhere on the island but if you get a blue roof taxis which cover Los Cristianos and Las Americas to Costa Adeje and then someone tries to jump in when you get out they will not take them as this area is covered by white roofed taxis. Can be a little confusing but when we asked a taxi driver he said its because they have their own areas of pick up and are not allowed to pick up out of their area. :-)

Just went to catch one of these, either one, couldn't care! The hotel had no idea that it stops outside the hard Rock! Their web site says it does but there was no signage, no times and it was a pita looking for any info that gave you this. Thanks for the vid, at least we have a better idea but still not sure of when to stand out in the heat to wait.

Nice video mate. Enjoyed that. Also love the music BTW. The Mexican themed hotel where wally stopped by Parque Santiago IV is the Villa Cortes. It's a bit expensive but it's the best hotel we've ever stayed at. There's also a brilliant Italian restaurant (La Trattoria Pizzaria) on the corner opposite IV which is well worth a try.

Hiya. Just behind the fund Grube shop, under the Ponderosa hotel is a little gem of a pub called the Calypso Bar. It is run by Becky and Shaun who are lovely. There is live music most days (closed Mondays) best to reserve a table as some acts are very popular. So for great entertainment and friendly atmosphere call in and see Becky and Shaun.

If your near Puerto colon you should go to the Elvis bar or the Sky bar and look out for the Freddy murcery guy he is fantastic. Just wondering which area is your favourite? I'll be back next year just not sure which part to stay in

At 12.44 just past the tax office you passed a great row of bars on right hand side opposite Mediterranean Palace, anyone else remember George and the dragon, June was the dragon, had some really great nights there, George had a mini bus and would often drive customers home at 1am or later . Fabulous times, you have to remember Tenerife doesn't come alive until after 9.30pm, all inclusive holidays has killed off a lot of the competition and many small bars have closed but if you know where to look they are still out there.

At 11.59 you can see the Hotel Apartments Columbus, been going there for many years, all inclusive, bit basic but food has always been great, going there again next week, absolutely ideal location for Las Americas and Los Cristianos. You can buy a ticket from reception for breakfast, lunch or evening meal, you won't be disappointed, eat as much as you want, buffet style, you can take a look before you buy. Plenty of bars with entertainment near by, best resident entertainer Billy McCracken, ex Molly Malones performs most nights at the bar opposite.

We're coming in May next year only our second time abroad. We stayed in pdla Prague Santiago 3.this time we've been book into villa mandi (sorry dyslexic) it's the golf resort. I'm a bit worried as the reviews I'm seeing are mixed more worse than good. Do you have any information on it? Hubby can't walk to far for to long how much would a cab be to and from las Americas? Is the walk doable? Is it a bad area on the way back at night? Sorry for all the questions I've got my worry head on. I just want to enjoy this holiday as its been a very long time coming 😏😎 thanks

You're a little bit out. However. Not a massive way out at all. Probably a ten minute walk to the action. Cabs not overly expensive. Have a look on Google Street view. You see it's not too bad. You're also on the good side. A little more civilised. You'll be fine. I've been to Tenerife tons of times. If you're not looking for trouble you won't find it. If you're gonna roan around veronicas at 3.30am then you will if you're looking. Don't worry. You will have a great time. People are so friendly there. You'll love it. Enjoy. Laura Cutts You're gonna love it. I've walked the streets with a camera at 2am. Been absolutely fine. Relax and enjoy. People are so friendly. If you go to one of the markets then be vigilant there as there are pick pockets. You'll see no trouble. The BBC shows highs of 23*, with some rain on Saturday. The forecasts aren't always reliable cos the mountains create lots clouds which may move a couple of miles over the coast. Take a tablet with you and check the forecast each morning for various resorts. Eg, El Médano may be sunny when Las Am is cloudy. It's only an hour away by bus. I'm back in Costa Adeje 2 weeks today! Yay!

We had a timeshare in Tenerife Royal Gardens, but we were didlled out of it by a Mr (Goldfinger) Palmer. lost the lot. but I still love the place, we have been going there for 28years, twice a year. we will be back in May and September.thanks for a great show

At 16.26 caught 3 blokes trying to steal my car off the car park on the left in the video, at about 2am on our way home, one was on crutches, police had already been called by someone else, anyway long story, I managed to kick two of them in the knackers while the cops had them lined up, third one ran off, copper chased him but couldn't catch him. Went to court, cops came round and gave me the wrong date, we turned up on time case had already been dismissed because we didn't turn up. got to laugh haven't you, at least had the satisfaction of kicking two of them where it hurt the most.
