A very Good Evening to You Lee. This was another relaxing soft and natural video, with no music and no silly graphical inuendo bits. A Gentlemen having a Lovely Mooch and sight see through one of Australia Best kept very clean, tidy and a very calm atmosphere. The most Friendliest and Warm Welcoming people i have ever see. I really Loved seeing the footage of you Lee, at Betty's Burgers. I did hear when you were making your order, the young girl Customer Service Assistant, was very Lovely and Helpful. She was very Polite and Courteous towards you Lee. Your Burger looked absolutely Gorgeous, Tasty, Delicious and Good Quality meat, little bit of lettuce, tomato and a lovely piece of Fresh Pineapple. This was a Burger and a Half. Well worth every Dime. 10+/10. Then you took us along with your Mooch and You meet the most Loveliest Family you could. They were very Welcoming and you have a Good conversation with them. To finish off, you took us along to that Excellent and very Popular Bar, the footage of the City Scape and that Wonderful Sunset was the Best ever Lee. I'm not a city living person and wouldn't want to live in one, but Perth maybe would be an exception. I said in a previous video how clean and relatively quiet it looked compared to the hectic life in a lot of cities, and that could suit me no end, it's just the heat I couldn't handle in summer, it's certainly lovely looking as you say and definitely doesn't look boring as some say. Betty's burger looked lovely, I thought it looked like a normal bread cob it was in as I prefer those, it didn't look like brioche to me, but I was wrong. You ought to do an evening video around town while you're there, at least it wouldn't be so hot then and it would be nice to see a bit of the nightlife. Really enjoyed the video.

Bettys is a Good Coast company. They have a branch in every major city in Aus. Used to have a Pork Belly burger that was amazing. But wasn’t on the menu at the Perth store. Not a brioche bun. It’s a milk bun.

as a Sydneysider recently in Brisbane, the best value burgers i found were at the tiny standalone cafes serving tradies. example the virginia cafe in Pritchard rd Sunshine nr station (basic $8 incl beetroot & sautéed onion) and joes snack bar cnr Beenleigh rd & Jackson rd, sunnybank hills (basic $10.50 incl above). they have undercover chairs outside so you can eat in the breeze. they operate only during worker lunch hours but are better value than the chain restaurants & give the genuine old fashioned burger experience with large patties & fresh buns that Maccas/Hungry Jacks killed off

I love your traveller’s perspective on our city. The CBD area may seem quiet but if you visit the major suburban shopping centres, you will find the crowds. Also be careful of your belongings when you’re vlogging. We maybe a chilled city but there are still thieves about.

I'm from Perth, and while on holidays in Sydney last year, we saw their version of our green cactus 🌵 it's more earthy colours, brown/orange/yellow/red. Still an odd looking thing no matter the colours 😂

If you want a real relaxing place on a beautiful beached area I would recommend Rockingham a bit down South of Perth.Terrific and fish and chip shops to burn ! LOL. Mandurah down the road a bit from Rockingham is worth a look to.Lovely area also !!

Lee, as mentioned before i moved to Aus in 2004 and relocated back in 2012, i still travel back and forth with work as my head office is in Perth. I have an Aussie passport that makes things easier. The Fish & Chip thing you need to let go of. People born in Australia think that English fish and chips are terrible, so it depends where you call home. The fish & Chip shop at Cottesloe , Amberjacks are very good and we would drive from North Perth to get them, sit and watch the sun set on a sunday evening. Pure bliss and beaut fish and Nerks. Just watch your parking i parked outside in a 10min bay and got a $200 ticket. Most expensive Fish and Nerks ever !!! loving the videos and sad im not there to have a nice Margret river Cab Sav with you.

That green structure we call the Cactus. I remember when it was first erected I was so confused as to what it was and why but now we're just used to it and use it as a landmark to meet up with friends. Also for Indian try Chakra down Beaufort Street, best Indian I ever had, it's won ton of awards

To be honest, Perth as the most isolated State Capital in the world, is probably the best. It probably has the most relaxed atmosphere, the best, most consistent climate, and an incredibly efficient public transport system. Boxing kangaroos do exist - visit any Perth golf course around dusk and you will find out. Your comments regarding litter are interesting - laws regarding litter are enforced rigorously, including cigarette buts being thrown out of car windows due to fire risk. As to the structure you denigrate, it is a bone of contention - it represents a cactus which can be found in many gardens in Perth and, of course, throughout the State - whether you like it or not -it is a symbol of the flora of the state. Betty's burgers are by no means the best - go for Grill'd - at least they are diet-friendly.

I wonder if the Macmaster has ever seen the comedy movie 'Kangaroo Jack' with the kangaroo bouncing all around? It was so funny! He can show his viewers and subscribers kangaroos by going to the Perth Zoo. My son was in a picture with one of the kangaroos and its head was leaning towards his shoulder. They can be very friendly in the zoo. They are in area where they move around freely.

Loving the Aussie videos Lee. I was there in 2011, Sydney and Gold Coast though, absolutely fabulous. Would say that Sydney is much more frenetic than Perth which seems so laid back. While in Sydney try to visit the Blue Mountains. Theyre only a couple of hours drive away and are stunning. Anyway, onwards my friend and keep the videos coming.

The last time I was in Sydney was many years ago, and I remember the "migraine" coming on the day I entered the outskirts of the city until after I left. The traffic, to me, was a nightmare, but then I was used to much quieter roads. I didn't like it, but that's just my personal preference. I know others love it. The Blue Mountains are gorgeous! 😀

I see other people mentioned it. Obviously KJ, which of course, stands for Kilo Joules, is not the same as calories. Lee, it should have occurred to you that a 3100KJ couldn't be calories. That's like a day and a half worth of calories. If the burger was that big, I think you might need help from Adam from Beard Vs. Food! I noticed, when you were walking down the street, there were quite a few Japanese restaurants. I am guessing there is a fairly big Japanese population in that city based on it's proximity to Japan. You should try a nice Japanese restaurant one night. You know they have a lot more than Sushi. Maybe try some Kobe beef, or Tempura or teriyaki? It might be a nice change of pace.

As an ex-courier (retired 2014), I can tell you the Perth's best burgers (quality and value) were in a lunch shop in Kewdale. Totally agree, the green "cactus" is stupid and hideous. Americanised Australia - bloody fries instead of chips. You've got the pineapple, where's the beetroot? Next, you need to try an Hawaiian Pizza.
