I would honestly say Jeff is still more obscure even though Luna originated in a mobile game she's one of those characters that has transitioned into the comics so she has some comic appearances under her belt she's also treated like an actual character in those appearances while jeff did originate in the comics he has far fewer appearances than Luna and those comics don't give him much in the way of character depth besides just being a very good boy which is fine I guess

Instead of hopping off the map, you can go to the to pity tip of the edge, aim all the way down but not too low and throw everyone off, and it instantly sends them into the death zone without any chance of recovering backup. Also usually they'll expect you to run off the map, so even if you throw him a bit too high and they do have a slight chance, they won't expect it and they'll get surprise killed.

As a dedicated jeff enjoyer i will say DONT SLEEP ON THE SPEED BUFF. the bubble burst has a decent aoe and if your team is clustered up you can get to point very fast. if your swimming away from someone try and get on the wall like on top of a doorframe or something theyll lose you 90% of the time

I feel like Jeff is a really good example of an easy to play, hard to master kind of character. You also however forgot his second passive that makes you 100% more likely to be targeted by enemies. I just want his Symbiote skin added to the game as a bundle with the full works. I feel like he could use a tweak to his ultimate giving it more support utility maybe spawning a healing whirlpool that lingers after you use it or it spawns a huge mass of bubbles or finally giving allies you spit out a healing bubble shield.

Here’s some tips that I’ve picked up: 1. Don’t spam bubble. Bubble is your best form of healing hands down, as the burst heal and bonus healing it applies in conjunction with healspit can save teammates from the very brink of death in an instant. Instead of spamming bubbles like medkits, keep at least three in reserve, and learn how to aim and direct hit teammates at varying distances. 2. Bubbles burst on contact, even while being fired. When firing bubble at long range, either jump or aim higher than you think in order to prevent the bubble from sticking to the ground in front of you. 3. Always bubble your teammates when you first leave spawn at game start, or when you’re running back after dying. The extra speed allows your team to rejoin fights faster and help tilt the numbers advantage back in your favor. 4. Save your ultimate for when the round is nearing time, especially on escort maps. The enemy team will typically group up on point to prevent your team from contesting and buying time, but a quick ult can give your team the extra push it needs, while compartmentalizing the fight. 5. Memorize which characters can survive being spit off the map, and when in doubt, go down with them to ensure kills. No mercy.

A few Jeff tips I found kinda useful. When going into hide and seek he falls a little faster. So if you’re knocked up use the ability to dive into the floor. Healing bubbles on top of hide and seek healing makes you almost invincible. When swimming away quickly put a bubble down run into it dive down and continue to run away. Use the bubbles right as you get out of spawn or when your team needs a regroup. The extra speed is very nice. The bubbles do slight knock back when picked up by teammates. Idk how that’ll be useful but that’s something. Love you Jeff and Jeff supporters 🦈
