I'm commenting before the video. I personally try out their movement, go through the move list, practice key moves, learn punishers, mini combos like uf+4 , d+4,2,3 for example from Drag, then combos, and then spacing and poking moves. Then I practice against a bot to try to simulate a match. I'll see if my method is close to TMM.

I think an important thing to get down is low parry follow up, doesn't have to be the best just get muscle memory to do whatever move picks up after a low parry. As well as find a move that always hits grounded opponents, so if you do have a tech trap 5050 or whatever you can always make them want to stress to their feet by hitting them on the ground. That is usually my favorite move, whichever move flips them while they are grounded. Kaz is ff4, Bob is b3, Asuka is df3, Julia is ff3, these are all my favorite moves to use when I am playing as them

With Lili's Snake Edge, it has arguably the best crushing out of any Snake Edge. It easily crushes Kazuya's WS2. I only use it when I'm predicting my opponent to throw out a move and while I can do Matterhorn, if my opponent recovers on time then it's easier for them to block high than to block low. So when using snake edge after doing a hard read on my opponent's move and crushes their move, it hits them about 95% of the time

Learn their 50/50 mid/low mixup 3. Learn their cheese move (example. snake edge) 4. Learn their basic launchers, whiff punishes, combos, and wall combos 5. Learn i10, i12, and i15 frame punishes 6. Learn their basic gimmicks and flowcharts (aka, take advantage of most people's reaction to a move) 7. Learn their command throw because they are harder to break 8. Learn their homing move 9. Learn their frame advantage moves on hit and block 10. Learn to put all these steps together so your opponent breaks their controller

It's good but it doesn't necessarily make him good with a certain character. I would say you're really good with someone when you can adjust your play style against a challenging opponent. Mainman also doesn't have to learn much as casual players because he can learn things just from fighting against high level players a lot.

It really hurts hearing you say: "I check the frames" "I can see that this attack is plus" etc. when me and other players don't have dlc pass 3 and cannot see those values. We have to alt+tab and check everything manually, which takes twice as much time. I'm a new player, and it really discourages me from playing the game.

If you are on Steam you can get the all the DLCs for free by changing some files in your game folder. Everyone, their grandma and I was doing it to get Leroy, Ganryu and Fakurnmam early.
