Leo is cool. Interesting neutral tools like back step and low profile, unique safe mid strings like qcf21 and cancels with b4,1+2 etc. unique parries, all rounder, hard pickups and combo loops with lots of variety and tech possible, not picked by anyone else so you are doing something unique, nice mix of hard hitting and technical animations. Rage art and heat animations are trash but you can't have everything

I look at all of the Tekken 8 characters and... yes, Leo. Leo and Xiaoyu, but Xiaoyu is a bit too dishonest for my taste. Leo however is a solid but not overtuned all-rounder with quite a diverse tool kit, simple to access offensive options, very good parries, and some of the most satisfying hits to land in the game animations-and-sound-wise.

@@JosephDGuedes it's about how that can be more important than everything else combined in this game sometimes. A person with somewhat better reads shouldn't be beating someone with better execution, spacing, timing, move choice. But sometimes this game being so 1 touch, and Oki and certain moves being so overbearing, making the game a coin flip is too much of a common thing. It destroys the nuance and variety in playstyles that people can choose to take, and interplay and adaptability is diminished because everyone is trying to force the same style of play. Put that in a ft2 game that shouldn't have that system and it just makes for a boring and sometimes frustrating game

Leo is for people who want to play fundamental Tekken utilizing defense and pokes instead of relying on gimmicks like boss mode and flash. Having decent evasion helps with that in a hyper aggressive game. Leo feels like a polished Tekken 6 character instead of someone completely reworked into a Tekken 8 monstrosity. Hope that cleared things up for you.
