I love how kazuya needs 2 things to be a top 10 character: movement, electric

That’s why mishimas were strong, the key for mishimas is about creating whiffs so you can whiff electric punish, but when they nerfed the movement overall in T7, it’s much harder to create whiffs with good movement, hence their strengths went down. good mishima gameplay isn’t all about the 50/50 it’s about looking for those openings with good movement and then electric whiff punishing

Man tag 2 is so colorful. Just compare the yellow on King's outfit to his tekken 7 outfit, seems like the saturation was turned down.

Kazuya was EASILY the most PLAYED/ USED character in Tag 2 He was even more played than Devil Jin

he was actually the third most used,right above normal Jin. Somehow,Asuka and Lili are the two most played/used characters,though idk if this is just online stats or in total. And I think Kazuya was top 3 or 4 in the tier list as well,so he definitely got a lot of work done to be this high on the lists lol(I got this from event hubs so take it all with a grain of salt)

@@johnnyjacksonson457 yeah, I'd say Lars went well with every other character. Also, Feng, Paul, Armour King, Heihachi and Bob went well with everyone too. I must say though that putting unusual tag teams together was my favourite thing to do. The combos were even more fun to pull off lol.

That “doriya doriya masku” when u were saying woooahhh it launched, was probably the most suave masku yet the way you enunciated it. This series is lit for me cause i grew up on tekken but after 5 DR i kind of fell off, i had 6 and beat it but i just couldnt enjoy it as much, so ive missed so much tekken up until just recently. Going back to see this has been really entertaining

After seeing this, I really hope you revist Tag 2 Jin. The only video about him was about the Omen Stance, and even that video didn't fully dissect how powerful it was. So seeing one with Jin and Devil Jin paired that thoroughly explores Tag 2 Jin Kazama would be amazing

About his df1, 2... the thing that killed lower level players was that the opponent ends up in crouch if they blocked the string. So their natural instinct would be to jab after that but their character's ws1 move could be a lot slower than a standing jab so if Kazuya did df2 after df1,2 was blocked he got a counter hit which of course leads to a big combo.

Idk if he mentioned this or not,but tag 2 had this dumb feature where back rolling when grounded was basically a death sentence,with each character being able to pick up anyone who was half rolling and could even pull off a combo in some situations,and Kazuya's hellsweep had insane tracking in this game,so basically backrolling against him was probably the worst thing you could do

yep, backrolling could get a float for kazuya and if you time it correctly a deep dash electric can actually get a full launch since the opponent has a few frames where they are considered standing right before they are able to block

Great feature, it added to the complex oki system. Now you simply hold back not thinking and get up fine. The TK7 get up animations look weird as hell all to dumb down oki… smh

Your tekken revisited videos are my favorite kind of videos on your channel, i'm not really a tekken fan like that and i haven't played the games that much, the games i played back in the day were tekken 5 and 4 and i did try tekken 7 on steam a while back but i was like "meh" and got bored of the game after 40 hours or something like that. But i still like watching your videos about tekken and by the way. I will probably get tekken 8 once it comes out, i hope they have a bigger budget now "They definitely do" to make a immersive and awsome, cool, enjoyable story mode. I would personally want it to be at the very least enjoyable

Kazuya can transform into devil form in ttt2 by pressing ↖️ + (1+2) which last permanently, do the same input tro transform back
