The PDRM K9 unit

Crime fighters come in all shapes and sizes, in this case, man's best friend.
The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) K9 unit was set up in 1968. Since its inception, the unit has had about 569 dogs and it plays a crucial role in the police force.
The type of dog used the K9 unit include breeds such as German Shepherds, Labradors and Malinois.
The dogs are trained to conduct specific duties and they help in the capture of criminals, sniffing out drugs, firearms and explosives and human remains and body parts.

I hope the welfare of animals in Malaysia will be improved and please stop killing strays unjustly and unethically. I hope Malaysia teach children from school to love nature and empathy towards animals and teach them the important to sterilise pets too and they are NOT TOY where when bored of them, you toss them away irresponsibly ... did u see the nervousness of the malinois?the excitement?wrong training and handler could cause a damage.compare with shepherd and blood hound much steady and consolable.after all, many house in malaysia owned shepherd.in fact i had a chinese friend with his really big german shepherd but extremely friendly with neighbours and cats.its all based on their owner and training i guess.personally i really salute to local chinese in training their dog.im a muslim and frequent visit to veterinar to send my cat.the dog trained by them was very obey and not aggressive towards others.even a pitbull just sat beside me and not looking at my cat at all.u can tell how people handle their dog based on how they hold the leash.
