I'm may be old hardstyle shuffle dancer but I still got it and I'm glad that new hardstyle shuffle dancers are keeping alive what really is all about true Melbourne hardstyle dance unlike the other new shuffle dancers are going slow with no energy and emotion. And the real deal is that other new shuffle dancers can't compete or can't beat the hardstyle dance.

Started back in 2006 when I 10 now I'm 22 I'm glad there are still people doing it oldschool on hardstyle how it used to be instead of those slow and generic moves of nowadays! Even tho Hardstyle has evolved into something different than it used to be in my shuffle days but I will allways stay true to my roots and what started my love to the beautiful music of hardstyle

* dramatic music and video effects * It's 2018... And people still don't know... That the T-step... Is the foundation of the Melbourne Shuffle! But half-jokes aside, it's good to see people still doing this dance. I even remember some faces in the video and the comments section, like Gaara or Samurai. I can tell that a lot of time and effort were put into making this compilation, so kudos for that. On the other hand, I thought that we'd grown out of over-the-top effects (although they were fitting at moments in this one, I'll admit) and music, and that the dance had developed into something more mature. But each to their own, I guess. All in all, I'm glad that there are any shufflers left besides me, and good job putting these compilations together. They're a nice throwback, and yet they're fresh stuff. Keep doing this, and keep on shuffling, people. :)

Havent done a full shuffle jam in like 6 to 7 years, would love to get back into it but no one around me really understands the oldschool style. Most people by me only recognize the newer i guess "cali" shuffle style so rocking the melbourne style i get weird looks and distasteful criticism saying it looks stupid compared to "their" style

This is gold. Thanks for keeping this alive. I started shuffling in 2006 when I was just 10 years old, but I still practice it during festivals or sometimes at home. I can do all the styles, I love how it's evolving (cutting shapes) but love to see the older styles as well. Keep it Up!

One thing for sure will never change: The newer Harder Styles music will never fit any style of shuffle. No wonder Hardtrance became more and more accepted. This isn´t Hardstyle anymore it´s ear cancer and exclusively fits hard jump. Dancing off rhythm begins at 4:35. Sry. No approval from me

The example you provide isn't really a matter of dancing off beat, it's that the video and audio (track) aren't properly synced. But that aside, I do agree that hardstyle isn't the best genre for the shuffle, it's just too aggressive and most people simply spam the RM to it. However, generally I think that as long as the dance is done properly, it mostly doesn't matter what genre it's done to.
