What is a movie that you held off on watching for so long, but ended up loving it when you finally watched it?

A movie i held off on and ended up loving is the man from earth, had a buddy recommend it, and i held off for a few years, it's now my favorite movie of all time. On a side quest, there is a movie i seen as a child that i don't remember the name of, and i thought you might be able to help me on this one. I don't remember much, but there was a mean little girl, she cut a ladies ankle as the lady was walking down stairs, and she wore one of those clear halloween masks i think you are supposed to put makeup on. Early to mid 90s is when i seen it, i was likely 6 to 8 years of age at the time.

Were you trying to be The Fonze at the beginning? 😆😁😆😆😃 Body Count 1986. I thought just another standard slasher, put of watching it even though it does have David Hess! Good story, very entertaining, sometimes silly with some good violence!

@DemiHavok420 my best bet is Alice Sweet Alice with Brooke Shields.

When I was in 4th grade a good friend of mine went with his father to see Cannibal Holocaust in theaters. And next day he was telling me about the movie and it sounded crazy to me but more of a jungle adventure. Well when VHS came along I would see the Venezuelan VHS in videoclubs but never rented it to record because I thought it was a jungle adventure. So one day I had nothing else to rent and record so I rented Cannibal Holocaust and wow I didn't know what I was missing. Then came Last Cannibal World, Cannibal Ferox, etc. Now I have all of those cannibal films.

Hey man, love your series every year and just in general your channel, but why in the world do you not break up the recording over a longer timeframe vs doing it in some long crazy 6 hour or whatever one shot sitting? But hey, another interesting review and perspective. Orphan was pretty good.

In you tube there's a channel called Scary Mysteries that has a video where they cover this case. And the case began long before the family. This little monster was together with a female religious fanatic who had a son. Well both of them had this distorted religious world view and they tortured the boy. When the authorities knew about the boy being tortured they came after these 2 wackos to save the boy. But the woman that looked like a girl escaped and that's how she ends living with a family as a 12 years old!🤔 Anyway I like The Orphan and the sequel. Good review and cool video Justin!👍

I saw Orphan in the theaters, with an ex girlfriend of mine, & we had a helluva time!! I loved it, & certainly did not see that twist ending coming! I remember a man in the theater, yelling out, after the reveal, "what the hell, she was a midget"!! Lol, btw, his words, not mine. Anyways, this is definitely one of the best horror flicks of the 2000s, in my opinion.

While it's not a huge deal, wouldn't it make sense at this point to drop the "early" from the title of this series?
