18 is really good and can snowball into a very good defensive unit if shes getting additional supers, 17 being mainly a damage dealer can be fine but will not get many chances to get the orbs he needs to do good damage. If we can get a new TOP17 thats either a DFE or Carnival LR 18's usability skyrockets and could have a good future

The teq 18 is really good but it's she's doesn't really have a place on reps if u7 since it's full of really good lrs but is a good 6th option

She's a valid option for Roshi's team, given you'd likely run the LR AGL and TEQ UI Goku.

I never understood why USS #18s are always more defensive than their USS #17 counterparts, when #17 is the one with the barrier technique...

Probably because she is just weaker all round during the tournament and they wanted to give her something so they gave her the “protector” role.
