Man, I didn't know death appeared the first time I played the game. I didn't have Fuuka yet, so I heard the faint chime of bells. I thought that was outisde, so, near the stairs, I only noticed death as a red circle speeding torwards me. HOLY CRAP! That scared me!

Not only from those cards but also when Fuuka says theres no mobs on this certaun floor and has bad feeling, from there wait until she says she sense Death. Run along the map until he hear the chain/bell sound.

A good tactic agints him if you have Vishnu and Ananta, then you let everyone die except the protagonist. After that resurrect everybody so they will come after the reaper. The two persona's combo i mentioned is to grant invincibility for a single turn plus until that caracter's turn. Then all you have to do is use that combo move every second turn to make everyone invincible except the prot. in every 2nd turn, so if he is strong enough not to die instantly then you are invincible for the fight.

i always fight him exactly the same as you do but after a while he always uses a megidolaon (sometimes with increased magical attack) and my whole party is dead. kinda sucks

Obviously it's just a shadow called reaper, not the real dead. The real one is Ryoji who is sealed inside the protagonist body. This is still a paradox too.

best way is to get Soma, thor and whoever else to use their fusion thunder to shock the reaper, a persona with mediarahan, and a magic and attack mirror. Death will spam megidola so just have your team attack while you heal until he slips up and you can shock and all out attack the crap out of him until he can't fight back.

I watched a horror movie then I played P3, I was just grinding and Fuuka said death was near so I almost shit myself. I didn't know what it meant so I just kept grinding when I heard the bell like sounds. Then I looked at my map, speeding circle was comming to me so I headed to the stairs but I didn't go up. I waited to see what it was and I first encountered the reaper who was just staring at me. I was so scared that I stopped playing for a week >.>

4 in japanese is pronounced shi, which is just one letter off from shin, meaning death. Some people even prefer to use ichi, ni, san, _yon_ instead of shi.

Death is really annoying even if you max out all ur charecters and personas, he still uses that mass death spell which killed all of my party. Good thing i had P.O.D. (Plume of Dusk FYI)

You can actually just wait in practically any room in Tartarus that has monsters in it until Fuuka says 'I have a feeling that Death is near'. But if youre gonna challenge Death, at least take up Elizabeth's quest for a bloody button first, otherwise there's really no reward for wasting all that time and items trying to beat it.
