tbh I thought that they put is so we could not get the S+++ on this on purpose as an indication that you need to come back at higher levels in the base game seeing it is level 25, seeing it is a 3 min timer and DPS is so low. I only just noticed from this that the SBAs stop the clock, so seeing the enemies get stun locked when someone SBAs them, staggering SBAs massively might always be an optimal DPS route in the main game and the way you do the time objectives. I mean it took like 5 mins to actually do the quest.

Getting isn't hard if you get pugs that knows how to play correctly. I think Asami & I did at least 6+ runs before we finally got S++. Kept getting players that dies, not chaining SBA, low damage (obviously didn't equip sigils correctly) and more. Obviously during those failures, I quickly learned how to use Io and how to maximize her fast cast. Although I wish there's a better indicator (like numeric) on how much charges she has (hard to see it with bright effects sometimes).

@@themasterll Personally I have not actually gone for it, plus there is no point to it in the demo, you get the main game rewards just doing the quest once (FYI you can check the rewards you will get from the main select menu, some sigils and fortify crystals) I have done it t least 15 times now as I have been playing every character and running through the 3 quests with each to try them out, some I have skipped the first quest. I expect other are doing the same. Neither am I putting any effort in, without some training dummy its too hard to get the combos down correctly. I was thinking of trying to solo the bosses to give me a lot of time to practice with characters. Also we got a few weeks with the game so I can find some characters I really like out of the 11. I was just saying that I actually thought the devs put it that we could not actually S+++ it because of the timer as a kind of indication that you would need to be higher level to teach the players. Though after seeing this vid and seeing the timer stops in SBAs it seems that the staggering of SBAs is an important part of it. SBA gain and damage sigils etc too. This will probably be the optimal or meta way to do time objectives in the main game.

​@@themasterllis chaining burst rly worth it, the finaldamage doesnt seem worth. I feel like you get more worth spacing them so you can effectively cc the boss at certain moments to increase dps uptime

@@sgtkwan It is worth it because of two things: 1) Damage may look weak but it is free damage plus extra from chain. 2) Time freeze a lot longer in a burst than doing it seperately, making it easier to meet time requirements. The thing is everyone does NOT need to be at 100% before you start the burst. You can quickly get 10%+ as long someone starts the burst (like a hidden SBA gauge booster gain). So as long everyone is within 10% of each other you should be able to full burst. We started as low as 60/85/95/100 for a burst and did a full.

@@sgtkwan Also it depends when burst is done too. If you do it during boss's Overdrive, damage is weaker. I believe elements is also a factor too maybe? I'm learning this just like you, but just as excited to play on release!

You can also use dodge up to 2 times too! You won't break your charge and also will retain your Fast Cast (if you have it).

Right now on the demo, you can change color when you are in Online Mode. Just go to the Camp menu (Option) then hit Triangle (Character Customization0 and choose your character's color. You can't do it for Offline mode because it just says "This will be available on retail".

youre the only player on youtube whos playing Io correctly holding square button then your skills to get those floating light orbs and then casting her concentrate and then fully charging Io’s triangle and STAYING afar and only going in when you chain SBA’s and then back out

Actually I don't have Concentration lol. I only have Heal, Fire, Ice and Lightning. You don't need Concentration to Fast Cast.

A spell from Io, it is a circle buff on the ground allowing you to Fast Cast as well as prevention from being interrupted while casting. If you play FF14, then think of it was BLM's Ley Lines pretty much.

Just go to Character Customization (Option - Triangle - Triangle). But you can only change colors in Online Mode
