You were able to explain that in 3 minutes better than my tenured professor at engineering school. My prof just spouted the terms on and off without explaining them graphically at all.

This is good. I was looking for a straight forward video on how to write a piecewise function in terms of the unit step function.

I am in the same class as Owen. Can confirm that this was way more helpful than anything that came from my professor. Thanks so much!

It took me so long to find a worthwhile explanation of this, Thank you for this video. So many people explain things in terms that only people who have this subject mastered will understand and don’t bother making it so people who are just being introduced to the subject can learn.

I wonder is the unit step function equivalent to the Heaviside step function?
@Hi_Brien4 жыл бұрын
I recently realized that the unit step function's laplace is really JUST e^(-cs), but we always multiply it by pur function, and L[u(t-1)*t^0] is e^(-cs)*1!/s

Is there a way, or any need, to do this in reverse? Taking a formula and constructing both a graph & piecewise function from it?

do you have anymore complex examples

Final Solution, Does it have to be like this? 7/s - ( 2e^2s ) / s because 2 is negative
