There is a topic that I've been interested in since I heard about it and I never dived in. But after having watched what I think is a big chunk of this channel's content, I have not seen one video or book about stochastic processes. The idea has always fascinated me and I know it's an advanced topic, but I know close to nothing about it. I would be grateful for a video about that in this channel.

Yes I like too. It will give you a very good about different concepts in different mathematics subfields (main ones). Not for problems solving skills but great to understand in an original way.

There is the much larger Princeton Companion to Applied Mathematics, edited by Nicholas Higham. And there's the classic Introduction to Applied Mathematics by Gilbert Strang. Neither is precisely an applied counterpart to All the Math You Missed but could be worth looking into. (I have both.)

I have gotten an A+ in Calc II, and I want to say I could never learn math by reading books. I think it is very inefficient to stare at a book, because it is unable to communicate back. I can only learn math by someone doing problems in front of me and answering questions.

I agree, I went through calc 1-3 plus differential equations over a decade ago and never read a math book while in school. I casually went through an old calculus book (Stokowski) yesterday for a few hours. I was shocked by how much I remembered and was familiar with. Basically the whole 1300 page book. On the contrary, I’m very much into math textbooks now. Especially these new non-conventional ones.

I believe it’s a matter of developing a bias towards the style of learning we begin with. I started mathematics self taught but with assistance from my grandmother at around 6-7 years old, and I learn much faster by myself with a textbook. Perhaps it’s due to the math in HS being subjects I had already known at the time, but I always found in person mathematics to be restrictive. As I can’t learn whatever I want and the pace is slower than my liking, as the teaching is for a class not an individual.

You can succeed if you make the space to put the dedication to maths you need. Practice doing 100 additions and 100 subtractions daily for one whole week. Begin the first day with two digit numbers only, the expand to 3 digit numbers, and so on. Do the same for Multiplication an division, don't use a calculator. If you see an improvement in speed, it is because you can succeed (which you absolutely can), most notably this will give you confidence,
