Thanks for the great videos. I got the answer by using the fact that a parabola is the locus of a point at equal distance from the focus and a straight line called the directrix. We get the equation x^2 +(y-6)^2 = (y+6)^2, whence we obtain 24*y = x^2 as the Math Sorcerer did. BTW, I have never seen that equation for a parabola before.🧑‍🚒

Next time try explaining the actual significance of the vertex, and maybe even where that equation comes from.
