Deadmau5 is like the complete opposite of the other producers. They usually hype the fans with IDs, while Joel shares every single step of making these songs, and usually there are multiple versions, with other names of the same song, but it evolves all the time. It's mind blowing and so amazing, and that's why I think he is one of the biggest producers af all time.
@urphakeandgey63084 жыл бұрын
He's got a gold mine of unreleased works, streams, and other neat things. One thing that's great about him is that he really does want fans to feel like a part of something rather than just an outside observer. It's great. I think the "rave scene" today lacks any sense of community. It's all commercial BS and big ticket festivals with an intangible DJ.

The reason why this version sounds better is mostly due to the lead synth. It's fuller, deeper, and envokes more emotion. They're just generic saw waves distorted, detuned, delayed, with reverb and nothing special but they fit so perfectly in this song. The high pitched lead from the released version is more difficult to make and I think with all the gear he has there is pressure on him to put out difficult sounding patches and unique tones, but just because something is easier and less unique doesn't mean it needs modification. Sometimes the more you work on a sound the further away you get from the way it should sound. Another reason why this one is better is the 1/4 notes he plays that are sidechain compressed on every kick. It's his signature sound and he mostly uses a Minimoog to make them, but music purists roll their eyes every time they hear it from Deadmau5 because he's used it so many times. But I mean he can't help it that it sounds so good. If it's repetitious than it's repetitious whatever. It sounds better there's just no debating it.

Everyone says they like this better than 4ware, while this song might be more interesting it just doesn't sound like it's finished like 4ware does. 4ware sounds like a complete full sounding track. If you make music you know what I mean. Doesn't really mean that either of the two is better than the other. They are both out here for our enjoyment. If it were me, I would definitely use 4ware on the album. Btw don't question the God of electronic music lol
