Anirban's character is hilarious & by far my fav! He's a cross between Creed and Kevin from The Office. Jerry is basically Andy from Parks & Rec, Neil Menon is a lot like Leslie Knope - passionate about the job & wants to keep it's team together, Sumukhi is essentially Donna from Parks & Rec, Kanan is like Ryan from The Office - new and stuck in a place he doesn't want to be.

This show has criminally low views. I just rewatched this recently, and I have to say the writing is so good! Parallels with the office are actually unwarranted, because the characters are all really unique and each of them have a strong part to play in the overall narrative, rather than just being comic relief. It's really a shame it doesn't have the popularity it deserves.

I watched BLF after 6 months because every time I finish watching it i have this realization that i couldn't watch season 2, and that really saddens me. This show is one of my favorites because I really love to watch something which is made with actual effort and a small group of people work really hard to create it with so much love. And, I love how all of the characters are so likable! This show makes me genuinely happy. I wish I could watch season 2 because I am pretty sure it's as amazing as the 1st season if not more. But I do know you guys tried everything you could to bring it back, and I cannot even imagine what it feels like to have a show that you all created with so much love and effort with your friends gets taken down. More power to you guys! :)

Looks interesting, clearly takes inspiration from The Office and Parks and Recreation. I suppose the cinematography could be improved a bit, the lighting looks flat (like a daily soap) and it could use some colour grading. The timings of the camera movements need to be perfected as well. I'm only comparing it with other popular mockumentaries including arrested development and trailer park boys. Also I'm not sure but I'm guessing they use a different shutter angle at times during sudden movements. That said it looks really interesting, would love to see how the characters' idiosyncrasies are portrayed and developed over the next episodes. Can't wait for the next episode.
