Expeditions Board Game SHOULD YOU BUY

Shrinking the tiles would prevent the card placement between them (with standard card size). Shrinking the card size down to mini American / European (to make them fit) would be awful.

Im really worried if we could play it on our table 😅 how much space would you say its needed for two players?

Very thoughtful review. It's hard not to compare Expeditions to Scythe, but I do think such a comparison is useful. Expeditions is a very good game with a solid design and nice production (especially if you ordered the Iron edition with metal mechs). Whereas Scythe is an excellent game that didn't need an expansion but was complimented by the expansions that were released, Expeditions is merely a very good game that IMO won't reach its full potential until the first or second expansion (i.e., it needs an expansion to address its deficits). I do agree with your assessment about the qualities of solo mode. 🖖
