Solid pre-finals adjustments from Team California. Seemed like Casebeer's right side block definitely bothered Taylor a little more than in prior games. And Chaim is so effective hitting out of the middle. Awesome play and some crazy good rallies. I definitely enjoy the quicker pace and more complex strategies that 4-man brings. Wish we could see the pros play that format more often. And c'mon Geeter ... everyone knows it's Fudpuckers. Hahaha.

was reviewing this to get some ideas of how people typically position for defense in 4s (diamond vs covering your whole column). was pretty surprised that both teams were doing offense where all 3 players ran up together. I saw them doing something similar on Haikyuu (sp), for Karasuno's offense where everyone runs up together to disguise the hitter. I never knew this was a beach offensive play as well. but you have to be in shape bc everyone has to run up and be able to scoot back (more frequently) for defense (non blockers)
