I just love this movie... For me as a native german, this movie is a big piece of my culture. It's very importand to not forget about our past... And to be ashamed for what our grandfathers did... But also to be proud, that we had such personalities like the Scholl-Sibilings Sophie and Hans or now Oskar Schindler, which tried to fight against this cruelity... Thanks for this awesome cover! Its a rainy cold day in Western NY and a cold wind is blowing in from above which is now a murky dark sky , even though its the afternoon. The master of the game settles in to give us a heartfelt rendition of this touching piece, making it look easy and it fits the outlook of my day perfectly at the moment. Thank you Eliott, you never disappoint. Hopefully one day I'll be able to attain half of what you can on the erhu. Its just so much more melancholy than the violin or cello in tone and my new music instrument I'm loving the chase for in my life now. ❤

Deeply touching. The chosen environment manages to be evocative in itself, it might very well be the old Schindler's factory. Don't know why really, but during the pandemic, I had this pull to read several books about the Holocaust, and I learned a lot from them, about the strenght and weaknesses of people, but mostly about strenght we can find , especially in our hardest trials. The movie, was also a must watch, since there might be patterns to recognize, so we would not allow it to happen' ever again!

This superb video and sound remind me when I first watched this heart touching movie : the true story of Schindler's list shows the worst side of human beings (the camp, the nazis) but also the empathy, kindness and devotion of other human beings. What about the movie " the dolce Vita "/ Roberto Benigni ? Next one on your agenda ? it shows the same contrast and adds the sense of humour as a way to cope with very dark side of humans !

Frederic 🙂 Life is beautiful by Roberto Benigni a film that everyone today finds it difficult to watch it kills me inside I appreciate a lot roberto Benigni intellectually this story of a father's unwavering dedication to his son the pure sweetness that the film takes on in a poignant dimension and heroic at the same time this father's love to protect his son is so touching that the film is a triumph of the human spirit in the darkest times. Benigni makes use of the advice of the CDEC historian Marcello Pezzetti, former director of the Museum of the Shoah here in Rome, member of the historical commission of the Fondation pour la Mémoire de la Shoah in Paris, When the idea of ​​​​the father who tries to protect innocence comes up of the son of horror, Pezzetti supports the film.
