As poignant and masterful as Perlman was in the movie, I believe this song sounds even more haunting on the cello. So raw. Guttural. It’s as if you can hear the screams of the six million echoing through the strings. Absolutely haunting.

Love Luka solo as well as his amazing duo with Stephan in '2Cellos'! kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJzGnmiZiZ6afas they are geniuses, as both have been playing and competing since around 5 years old!!! Being handsome and having a flair for drama, and a playful sense of humor, always helps captivate an audience with all their fun videos as well! Love Love love their connection through music, and obvious reverence for their instrument. (Evident in most of their videos, with the exception of maybe 1 I can think of where they make like a rockstar and it gets intense watching the strings break on their bows from playing so vigorously. Truly entertaining! ♡

I remember when I used to play piano a lot when I was younger, and... If you're really feeling the music, really expressing it with emotions and loose yourself in it... You might burst in tears, or laugh and smile if it's a cheerfull piece of music. You forget you're even on stage, you forget the world, you forget anxiety, forget everything... But only feel and express yourself in a song. I think that's what makes music the best, because when the artist is expressing and putting his/her all passion in the song, the emotions in it become more powerful and listeners will feel it as well
