I quite enjoy your covers. Without intention to disrespect, it seems to me like you're often using a tad too much reverb, which IMHO makes the music bleed together too much and individual tones suffer. But maybe that's the intended effect...?

I'd probably revisit the mix, it sounds a bit muddy; the levels seem to be too high for the background instruments, like everything is fighting to be in the forefront. Also sounds like it's at a constant dynamic throughout, so the master may be peaked as well. Overall though good and creative writing!

It could be that it needs a bit of eq, i think i didn't do too much with that on this mix, about the dynamics now that i hear this again i think i may have overdo a little with the compression and that's why it may sound like you are describing, in any case thanks for the feedback!
