Simply put Swat Kats was perhaps one of the best Cartoon Network series ever produced! I remember most of my childhood was spent thinking about how to design a turbokat of my own lol Those were the days when cartoons were inspirational..

Not to mention that we passed from a heroism era to an accepting era, by this I mean that a lot of cartoons are making more common the use of LGBT characters , something I am not against because is a good way to show children that LGBT people are just like any other person, but they sacrificed the hero "cool" factor for it. But that doesn't mean that today cartoons are that bad, and this is coming from someone who grew up in the 90's, yes, I miss those days, but in order for a cartoon to get renewed it need A LOT of stuff: Ratings, a toy manufacturer, a video game and video home sales (though this might get substitute by ratings on platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc). Regarding the violence factor... it was one of the reasons, but not the main reason, it was also due to Ted Turner's adquisition of Hanna-Barbera, the time slots the show was aired and that there weren't toys of it, at least official, and there was a few to little video releases. At least they got a decent SNES Video Game, which I am proud to own on its original cartridge
