A couple things about Usoian is they have more technology as they dont use ai, they have none of the Commissariats in there ranks as the militiaurm always stand and fight against the galactic horrors only retreating if every combat option is used up. They never blow up there own planet's to win battles. The Usonian Astartes are the original Marine corps and they serve the USA and compared other space marines they have great numbers and often outnumger the other space marines in part thanks to veterans from the militiarum.

The U.S. Militarum actually does have Commissars (called Continentals given how they dress in Revolutionary War/War of 1812 regalia), serving the same fearless morale-boosting purposes as their Imperial counterparts, but without the fratricide. The Space Marine Corps is unique in how it is composed of both Astartes and regular humans, the Daemon Dogs Chapter being the only part of the U.S.S.M.C. entirely composed of Astartes.

The worlds of Usonia mostly consist of 1950's to modern retro futurism and a revival of classical Roman architecture, especially in the capital world of Columbia. All the pollution, decadence, oppression, and overall horrible quality of life across the Imperium are virtually nonexistent, although not to say entirely without their own unique flaws. Even Usonian feudal worlds are relatively more advanced. The original Old Earth homeland of Usonia (North America) exists on Columbia, and the many planets across the Fredonian System have been named in accordance to standard American practice.

A idea on how to further expand on the religion of this world. Perhaps another reason why it is tolerated beyond the callback to ollianus pearson is perhaps they view jesus as a sort or proto imperial saint. Bruh we haven't even talked about their most infamous Militarum Mechanized Wing "Warpigs!" The Might of The WARPIGS! Many do not know when the founding of the Warpigs was christened, however it was surmised that this mechanize division was informally constructed in the mires of the urban warfare while suppressing a chaos insurrection in IRA-3 in the hivecity of Fanro-Jullah. Before their formal formation of the 3rd Light Armor and Reconnaissance Battalion, they were formerly the 3rd Light Recon and an Ad Hoc Light Armor detachment sent to support the 3rd Marine Regiment. In the fighting the Light Armored Tanks of the Ad Hoc Detachment became crucial, so much so after the first battle they were formed officially as the 3rd LAR Battalion. Fun Fact: One of their Pigs even got the bestown the imperial blessing, and as such the members of the 3rd LAR refer to the said IFV as "Saint Warpig" PS: this is pretty much a hodgepodge of real history and creative writing, so some of them really happened, and some of them is just writing bias and lore on my part

This is my second comment (because I genuinely like this fanmade faction) I'm imagining the Astartes Chaplain to be named "Hartman" the chaplain tends to be sharp-tongued and relentless as he is dedicated to his Marine's training While the "Daemon Dogs" Astartes company are the ones to counter any traitor Marines in their wake The 101st Shock troop Guardsmen regiment is infamous for dropping, clearing and capturing a Tau controlled imperial planet in mere hours due to their ruthlessness and discipline that it rivals the Cadians in every possible way (And they weren't supported with any heavy mechanized equipments at that)

Per my headcanon, the Usonian Militarum is organized on the division level, so it would be the 101st Drop Troop Division. Usonians of the Starborne Army are called Starborne Soldiers (or simply Usonian Starborne), while an auxilia for the Kings' Scourges legion is colloquially referred to as the Patriot Guard, consisting of Guardsmen akin to the Mordian Iron Guard in how well and flashy their dress is. The Daemon Dogs earned their namesake from the fact that almost every single Astartes and human Space Marine are blanks. It is unknown as to why so many of them are completely immune to Chaos corruption, but the most widely accepted fact is that their patriotism and duty to country cannot be broken (or the fact they perfectly embody every single aspect of all four Chaos gods without any influence whatsoever). They're the most common force to fight any daemon incursion or leading expeditions into the Immaterium itself, and some are known to take liberty in the Warp to bring back a daemonette barracks bunny.
