Tristen Vena Very underrated film. Battle: New York would have been an epic sequel. Oh well.

This, _Independence Day,_ and _Battleship_ are the best alien invasion flicks I've ever seen (in no particular order). The first two are fairly serious depictions of an alien invasion and are just dripping with American pride, and _Battleship_ just doesn't take itself seriously at all. It's just a fun action movie with no real message, and that's just fine by me.
