We all feel this way , anyone that grew up at that time . Things were changing slowly , but not enough to become to jaded. My heart aches for those days when I was young and everyone was still alive . We were the last generation that still believed in good . Like the program those days are gone . We had a brief period after Vietnam where the world had some peace this is a program from that era , it makes me very wistful .

Watching this…listening to the theme song makes me cry. This was my mothers favorite show. She had eight of us and she said she loved this show because she could relate to it. My mother past away in 2015. I remember when she was ill I would go visit her often and just spend time with her talking and watching movies and tv shows. One day about a year before she past I was able to download a few of the early episodes of Eight Is Enough. We watched them together, laughed and cried. I miss you sooooo much momma . I promised you that I wouldn’t be depressed when you’re gone..I promised you that I will continue to live my life and life it well. One day momma we will see each other. Until then I continue to love and miss you.

Go camping. Get out into the country. Unplug from technology for a bit. The world IS still wonderful. The sunlight DOES still shine on everything around. Yes, society has taken a nosedive and it's easy to let it depress us. But getting away from it for awhile helps put into perspective. This world is bigger than any of us, and bigger than any of our problems. We make these scandals and disasters and conflicts, but it's still bigger than all of them. For me, at least, that helps make those problems seem a little less important. Try to make your family a little more sappy like Eight is Enough, and try to indulge a little less in society's problems. Focus on what matters most. YOLO. What do you want to look back on and remember later in life? Society's bickering and gotchya games? Or scenes like in this video?
@PeaceLoveAndGranola2 жыл бұрын
not all rap is “awful” some of it is good you shouldn’t be going off of only what you’ve heard you’re also judging others talents which you probably don’t have so don’t call all rap awful some of it is good this is why everyone is turning against each other because of rude comments like yours which starts arguments
