We have Quik Trip in the Midwest. They let us bring in our own cups to fill with ice and/or water free of charge. Wonderful perk! And it keeps us loyal every time we need gas 🥰

Im so sorry you fell. Ironically, I came home from my day after I FELL TOO! I was finished handing off an Uber shop and pay, said, " Have a great day" to the customer and promptly tripped over a garden hose he had on his sidewalk. Same as you, I in no way braced for my fall and fell on my knee and bent my wrist. My glasses flew off and one of the lenses came out. 😂. Also I hit my forehead and was bleeding from the cut. The customers wife came out and she was yelling at her husband about the hose. She made me sit down and gave me a wet cloth. Im fine now but sore as sh##. Today was the day for sure. I hope you heal quickly. You are my favorite dasher/ Uber channel. Shipt is soooo much better than Uber or Instacart. Hope you are able to get on that platform. Feel better soon ❤

Yes, I get a free cup of ice everyday from Chick-fil-A. Fun fact as soon as the staff sees me they either have it ready or ask me if I want a cup 😂

Been there done that. Busted nose, scratched glasses, blood all over my shirt and the lady brought my order out to me and still made my delivery. Sore next day.

I fell a few months ago during a dash. Both of my hands were bleeding, my left knee was bleeding & i ripped my coat! It was a hand ro me. I saved the customer food however. It was a hand to me. I left the food at the door & texted the customer that i had an emergency, he really didn't need to see me all bloody with his food! I took a picture & tore out of there! I hope you're ok. 🙏

Are you ok? I hope your ribs are ok. I fell twice on just a matter of days about a month ago. First time I slipped on ice on a delivery. The 2nd time at a wrestling tournament in front of hundreds of people. To top it all off I was carry my metal water bottle. If people didn't see me at first the sound of my water bottle hitting concrete made them look. I fell on the wrestling mats and was not hurt. Just super embarrassed.🤣

i am so sorry you fell, i know your pain, i fell backwards summer 2022, weirdly my armpit landed on the rail so it caught me when i fell back 2 steps, my armpit/ribs hurt for about 2 weeks also.

I wanted to add that I slammed my thumb in my car door and it started bleeding right before a delivery. The customer added an extra $2 tip. I bet they saw it happen from inside, but they had a swinging door so I put their order away from the door.

I'm sorry you fell! Last year I fell down a customers stairs. I stepped back to take my drop off photo and I thought I had another step til the stairs but nope... I turned and I was on the edge of the steps. I fell down a few steps and severely sprained my ankle. I was out of work for 1.5 months. And the customer had a ring camera but did she come out to help me??? NOPE...

I fell coming out of Starbucks with delivery in my hand. I fell and smashed the coffee not one person asked me if I was ok or if they could help me. I had to beg Starbucks to remake the order.

Fell as well Jan 6th. in the notes it said bring to the back door you can walk on the blue tarp. I wasn't thinking..brought it to the door and on the way back off the tarp I fell hard. hair line fracture to my ankle & the inside of my knees hurt. They wanted to to wear a boot for 4 weeks. I tried one day and there is no way i can work with that boot on. My ankle feels fine but my knees still hurt. I got that person again and they took out the part of " you can walk on the blue tarp" and the tarp was gone🤔

At the end of September, I went to pick up a Lyft passenger. I didn't see her waiting outside right away....so I figured I had time to park, run and use the bathroom quickly and get back to the car before she started looking for me. Well. Didn't quite go that way. I did make it in to use the bathroom, but on the way out, I'm looking at my phone trying to text my passenger, not watching where I was going and ROLLED my ankle because I didn't see the curb coming! Yup....fell right at the entrance and my passenger was about 15 ft away and she came running and helped me up. But the damage had been done.... I had a bad sprained ankle.....my right one...the one you use to drive your car with!! It started swelling up right away....I had to cancel her ride which was going to be a semi-long well paying ride....so that she could request another driver. They got me into my car...brought me a bag of ice for my ankle and then I had to call a Lyft to pick up my husband so that he could drive me home! Arrrgh! I had never sprained my ankle before and it took almost a full 6 weeks before I could walk again normally.....and I couldn't even drive for at least a week. So when I saw the video of you falling....wow, did that bring back memories. Glad besides the cuts and bruises that you are still able to walk and work! Be careful! Love your videos!

Customer was understanding but I felt like an idiot. Dashing for me lately has been poor. They say they are busy and I'll be in a buzy zone and not get orders then when one come thru its $3 for 9 miles. Last year I did so well. It's always a toss up these days.
