I grew up in the West(US) since age 5, I just turned 48, but I found my Indian roots through ancient music, books, and serials. Currently watching Suryaputra Karn on KZbin. Incredible ancient story line, intense drama, and dialog. I'm hooked. Unfortunately there are no subtitles, but I have my mom, and wife helping out. I have all the science knowledge, and experience. I am now getting the spiritual awakening lacking in the west. 👏

If you like Karn then please find the English translation of Ramdhari Singh Dinkar's poem Rashmirathi. Rashmi-rathi means "He who rides the chariot of sun rays". During my pregnancy I have regularly listened this flute and it gave my enormous peace. Now during the sleeping time everyday my baby is listening this music. Generally she is very naughty and restless but when I play this tune I can observe her change. Suddenly she is stop talking and stop her body movements, lay down in my lap and try to listen the tune very carefully and slowly she sleep. She is only 1.5 years. Thanks meditative mind for this beautiful tune and many thanks to the flute artist.

Well it's said that a reason why fathers speak to their wife's belly while pregnant. Is because infants in the womb can recognize their father's voice. Perhaps listening to this while pregnant and then playing it for your baby is relaxing for her because it was relaxing for you when she was being created.

This music strangely makes you want to fall to your knees in humility and ponder the true depth of consciousness. It feels like this is the sound of very source of our consciousness,the true energy that binds us all. Every particle in this universe is us. How trivial and superficial money,jobs and desires seem when you even for a fleeting moment connect yourself with the energy that makes us. There is no joy,no sorrow,no pride,no hate,no jealousy,ONLY peace & purpose. It is good to see so many people being drawn to such music and express such thoughts that are brimming with spiritual energy. Much love to you all.

My great grandfather left India in the 1900s and settled in the Caribbean where I was born. I understand that he practiced Hinduism but a lot of his cultural and religious practices did not trickle down through the family line. I've always felt cut off from my Indian heritage and if I'm being honest, for a long time I did not feel that I could claim this part of me because phenotipically my African genealogy is the most dominant. As of late, however, I've decided to embrace all of my heritage and have asked the universe to guide me on the way. I am happy to have found this beautiful healing sound. I am deeply touched. Sending love from Trinidad &Tobago 💕.

Indian history of spirituality and its music is rich and beautiful indeed. But some are right to raise social issues of status of women and extremes of poverty and wealth. Terrible accounts of rape by some, and many Indians (probably most) horrified and angry at it too. The media only show the bad stuff. And for holier than thou Americans, India gets outdone by the constant slaughter in US by uncontrolled proliferation of guns. Not that pack rape is unknown in US either. The world needs more of this music and what it stands for. Thank you to both India and the U.S. for all the good and positive people that outnumber the bad, sick, ignorant, or just evil. Namaste.

Been enjoying this beautiful (musical style) for 60+ years since being introduced to (Ravi Shankar) by the (Beatles) introducing Ragas to American audiences. I'm a reluctant atheist who recognizes the unmistakable benefits of soothing rhythms, soft sounds, calming atmospheres. This music is (the real deal). These are not simply the simplistic chords of amateurs. These chords have evolved over 3000 years of meditative, practice, and wisdom of peaceful interaction with nature, and ones inner battles. Thanks to Ravi Shankar, and the Beatles for enlightening western audiences to this great medicine. Not to shabby?

Why, why cant you people just shut your mouth and let others have a moment. You always have to come up with your logic shit and disrupt the aura. Let people have beliefs (call them soothing fantasies if you want) and let them bask in peaceful tranquility it offers. Why are you so immature that you cant understand this simple thing? And you took it on your ego! Wow way to go man. Really shows your low self esteem that you got offended that easily. @ranjan lakshith There's a difference the west relies especially on the scriptures whereas in the eastern hemisphere it's mostly focused on spirituality and nature even the West before christianity was less of scriptures and more towards spirituality and nature or animalistic as well as in the ancient religions of the Indians (native Americans( of ancient America. I said Eastern coz the western religion and culture was destroyed by Christian religious wars.
@nitish5233 жыл бұрын
@ranjan lakshith I'm a follower of ancient religion, and Eastern way of life includes Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, Animalistic, Shintoism, Taoism, Confucianism, etc. Do we literally follow our scriptures by heart coz as far as i know we have different schools of thought and we can choose our path or Dharma and no one forces us to follow any one. This has to do we the 2 Abrahamic religions In Christianity and Islam they literally follow as per their Bible and Quran and the teachings of their prophets and if they don't they will be punished into infinity in hell, fear instilled in their followers. Our's is more of Spiritual, Bhakti, Yoga, etc where we devote our lives to Dharma and not y submission to Christ and Allah for redemption and not by asking for forgiveness. Life isn't complicated but we have made it complicated, life is like time keeps on passing. There's nothing spiritual about it, excep some fragments of ancient Spirituality still alive. Christians and non-Christians remain largely unaware of the history of Christianity. This website lays out the facts as clearly as possible. www.badnewsaboutchristianity.com/
@elke46463 жыл бұрын
@@nitish523 A true Christian is a devotee of Christ and the Dharma of Jesus Christ as He spoke it and as He promised. He said "knock and it shall be answered" and He does answer when you knock at the door of your Heart. He said "The kingdom of God is within you". He said about God 'In Him we move and have our Being". He said "Follow me". He did not say "Worship me". What He taught was much aligned with the Dharma of India. When He told disciples "when you pray go into your inner room and shut the door" He meant meditation. When you read the sayings of Jesus spiritually and not literally, you can see He teaches the true dharma.
