You guys must have had the time of your lives seeing all these wild animals in person and literally walking near lions and elephants. I hope one day I will experience this.

such a good video! I actually cried because I miss south africa so much and this was also my dream since my first trip 7 years ago. I lack the funds to be able to do this course but it is one I have always wanted to do and the company whom i would do it with. I spent 2 years buying all the books i could and studying on my own and watching safari live everyday for like a year. I have been to south africa 6 times now. but haven't been back for over two years since the pandemic. (probably why i teared up as much as i did because i miss what feels like my home) I really started to cry when you were mentioning how every human should do this to understand and appreciate nature. i couldn't agree more. I feel like to many people are so wrapped up in life that they all think the world revolves around only them, which is such a sad way to live. I also cried when you were describing the peaceful feeling around elephants because i have always felt that same way. I have suffered from social anxiety and depression most of my life. when i went to kruger for the first time. I cant describe how at peace i felt. it's like everything had lifted off me and I was the happiest and calmest i had ever been. and it was then that i knew in my heart that I truly just want to be as much of a part of it as I can be. if kruger can make someone with social anxiety feel like they now want to be a guide so they can get others to see and understand the beauty it and its animals hold lol then there must be some kind of magic in there. If i won the lotto i would so do this. for now the goal is to just save up and buy a house in south africa near the kruger and Just be able to visit as often as I can to "recharge" my mental batteries. apparently 2.5 years has really depleted them. so i really must come back asap before i start crying at every kruger siting hahah. cheers mate! and thank you for this video, thank you for wanting to teach others about the importance of nature. I wish you the best.

any idea about the prices of the course and how easy is it to get a Job afterwards?
@TheMegaMatt2 жыл бұрын
Hi, you get a good overview on the website of EcoTraining about the different courses. Please inquire directly with them to get an exact quote, the prices vary depending on the course and are not the same for South Africans and foreigners. The Industry has suffered under Corona but seems to be recovering now, I've been told that a lot of lodges are looking for guides at the moment.
