I'm a huge, but disappointed, fan of Rhys Nicholson...came here hoping to see new material. One would think that for the Opening Night of the Allstars Supershow he'd be doing new stuff...nope. Same old backpacking at 30, getting into an orgy is like entering a skipping rope, and fur-baby vs skin-pig. It was funny the first time I heard it....YEARS AGO. Come on, Mr. Nicholson...you had a whole pandemic to come up with new stuff.

Comedians don't typically try out new material at a massive gig like this, where jokes that bomb could cripple your career; they stick to jokes they know will land because they've gotten a good laugh before. And a large audience like this will be mostly unfamiliar with his material, so as far as they're concerned it's not old. Also, as he mentioned, he's only 31 this year, so you couldn't have heard the backpacking at 30 joke _that_ long ago...

Are you referring to his stand up special on netflix? It only came out last year, not years ago and there were things I hadn't heard before
