I have never seen this method of QAYG. I was thinking how are all of those squares going to get attached without a lumping seam in the back. This is brilliant! I have a serger/cover & chain serger. Decorative threads in the loopers would be stunning. My Applaud cover/chain and decorative stitch machine is on the way. I know what my first project is going to be. I have a ton of squares, HST and strips waiting for a project. This is definitely it. My mom’s childhood friend was just diagnosed with cancer and I am going to embroider a head wrap for her and make this quilt to help with the chemo chills. Thank you for sharing!

Вы наверное вырезали 5×5 см, а не мм? Будьте добры, а где вы углядели именно этот размер квадратика? Я несколько раз просмотрела видео, но нигде не разглядела параметры блоков или квадратиков, или полосочек. Или хотя бы размер самого изделия, чтобы можно было высчитать размер деталей! Количество блоков тоже неизвестно, но посчитав по картинке, решила что 9×8. Хотя не уверена. Буду Вам очень благодарна, если Вы поделитесь со мной своими расчётами ❤🙏

Yes, quilting on a simple sewing machine is very difficult, almost impossible. But I know a couple more ways to join quilted patchwork blocks together. I will try to show them in some videos in the future.

A different way of sewing the "quilt as you go" method. Very nice. I love the brocade fabric in the brown and the backing, it really sets the colors off. It has an "Autumn" feel.
