Hi, Janine; you guys are just such avid travelers, and you are such an amazing photographer. Switzerland is so amazingly beautiful, it has to be God's country! My husband and I went on a European Tour, organized through our former Pastor. It was a Reformation/Heritage tour. And it also included Switzerland, origin of the Swiss Mennonites. Switzerland was definitely the highlight.

I love Zander! He makes me chuckle. His facial expression on the cable car reminded me of when my husband & I went on an Alaskan cruise. We went on a excursion that required us to go on a very, very crowded cable car up to the top of a very steep mountain. And the cable car would stop and kind of sway and I just wanted to throw up! I was standing next to my husband on one side and then on the other side of me were some equally burly men. I said to one of them I was glad to be standing next to him because I wouldn't fall out due to his and my husband's big builds. He looked at me and I realized he was as scared of that cable car as I was. And then I got the giggles. My point is, I understood Zanders apprehension for sure! 😀 I want to visit Switzerland someday and I can't wait to see your next vlog! I hope it was the best trip ever. Oh and Happy Anniversary! We just celebrated our 31st anniversary on October 12th. The years go by so very quickly. ♡

This video brings back a lot of memories! In 1981, we flew to Nigeria with our two daughters (a 6 month old baby and a 3 year old). We spent 3 years there with Mennonite Central Committee. On our way home, we spent time in the Netherlands, Switzerland, and the U.K. Our favorite country was Switzerland! The most beautiful on earth, in my estimation! Our base was Zurich, and we did day trips to different places. One of my fondest memories was when the youngest, who was now 3 years old, held snow for the first time! I remember the cable cars well. They are kinda scary! Thank you for sharing your travels with us - I love them all! Can’t wait for the next video! Your children did remarkably well!
